Description
The Grand Power Stribog SP10A3 10mm Black is a compact, roller-delayed blowback pistol carbine chambered in 10mm Auto. It has an 8-inch threaded barrel, an SB Tactical folding brace, ambidextrous controls and an all-black finish, and it feeds from 20-round UMP-style magazines. Grand Power builds it in Slovakia and Global Ordnance imports it.

Grand Power Stribog SP10A3 10mm Black Overview
The A3 generation is the current Stribog design. Its roller-delayed action slows the bolt so the gun can run the stout 10mm cartridge without the heavy bolt and harsh recoil of a straight blowback design. The upper receiver is aluminum with a full-length Picatinny rail on top, a short rail underneath and M-LOK slots at 3 and 9 oclock, and the lower is polymer with an AR-style grip. A non-reciprocating charging handle sits on the left, and the safety and magazine release work from both sides. 4 pounds, before a magazine.
Why 10mm in a Pistol Carbine
The 10mm Auto pushes 180-grain bullets well past 1,100 feet per second from a handgun, and the 8-inch barrel adds velocity on top of that. That makes the SP10A3 more capable than a 9mm carbine for hogs, predators and backcountry defense at short range, while still running on pistol ammunition. The trade-off is cost: 10mm range ammunition typically costs noticeably more than 9mm and is easier to find online than at small local stores.

Roller-Delayed Recoil Impulse
Owners describe the roller-delayed action as flatter and softer than straight blowback 10mm carbines, with less bolt slap and less muzzle rise. The brace and the extra weight of the receiver help, so follow-up shots come quickly. It is still a 10mm, and the blast from an 8-inch barrel is loud and bright, so wear good hearing protection, especially indoors or under a covered range bay.
All-Black Finish and Brace
The black aluminum upper, black polymer lower and black SB Tactical brace give this version the most traditional look in the Stribog lineup. Black matches nearly every red dot, light and sling on the market, and it hides scuffs better than a lighter color shows dirt. The brace folds to the side to shorten the gun for storage. Brace rules have changed several times; the 2023 ATF rule was vacated by federal courts in 2024, but state rules and future federal action can differ.

Magazines, Sights and Optics
Distributors list three 20-round magazines in the box. The 10mm and 45 ACP Stribogs take UMP-style polymer magazines that differ from the 9mm Stribog magazines, so do not mix them. The 8-inch barrel is threaded 9/16×24, the common 10mm and 40-caliber pitch. Flip-up backup sights ride on the top rail, which leaves plenty of room for a red dot. A two-piece AR-style trigger group means familiar feel and some aftermarket options.
Honest Caveats
Grand Power is a smaller maker, so holsters, spare parts and gunsmith familiarity are less common than for Glock or CZ products, and resale value is less predictable. Spare 10mm Stribog magazines can be hard to find in stock. At more than five pounds, it is heavier than a handgun and lighter than most carbines. Suppressors are NFA items that need an approved ATF Form 4 and state legality, and adding a vertical foregrip to a pistol can create an NFA item.
State Laws and Ownership
Braced pistols with threaded barrels and magazines outside the grip are banned or restricted in California, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Illinois, Washington, Colorado and Delaware, and many of those states also limit magazines to 10 or 15 rounds. Pennsylvania has no assault weapon ban, and handgun sales go through a licensed dealer with a background check. Check your state and local rules before ordering.
