Description
The Glock 43 Robins Egg Blue Satin Aluminum is a US-made Glock G43 single-stack 9mm finished by Apollo Custom, with a Robin’s Egg Blue Cerakote frame and a Satin Aluminum Cerakote slide. It holds 6+1 rounds and ships with two magazines.

Glock 43 Robins Egg Blue Satin Aluminum Overview
The G43 is Glock’s slimmest 9mm, a single-stack subcompact built for everyday carry. This version starts as a standard G43 made in Smyrna, Georgia, and is then refinished by Apollo Custom, a custom Cerakote shop. The frame is coated in Robin’s Egg Blue and the slide in a silver Satin Aluminum shade, so the gun stands out in a case full of black pistols. Mechanically it is the same proven G43: a 3.41-inch barrel, Safe Action trigger, white-dot sights and a 6-round magazine.
Robin’s Egg Blue and Satin Aluminum
Robin’s Egg Blue is a soft turquoise that has become one of the most popular custom Glock colors. Paired with a light silver slide, it gives the pistol a bright two-tone look. Cerakote is a thin ceramic-polymer coating that resists wear and corrosion better than paint, but it can still scuff at the muzzle and slide edges after heavy holster use. Colors also vary a little between batches and photos, so expect a slight shade difference from the image on this page.
Size and Handling
With an overall length of about 6.26 inches, a height of about 4.25 inches and a width near one inch, the G43 is small enough for pocket, ankle or inside-the-waistband carry. It weighs roughly 16 ounces without a magazine. The short grip leaves room for two fingers on many hands, and the extended magazine floorplates sold by Glock and others add a little purchase. Recoil is snappier than a larger 9mm, which is the normal tradeoff for a gun this slim, so plan on regular practice.
Trigger, Sights and Controls
The Safe Action trigger breaks at roughly 5.5 pounds with the usual Glock reset, and there is no manual thumb safety; the trigger safety, firing pin safety and drop safety are internal. The factory sights are polymer, with a white front dot and a white-outline rear notch. They work well in daylight but are hard to see in the dark, so many owners upgrade to steel night sights with tritium inserts. The slide stop and magazine release are standard Glock parts, which keeps maintenance simple.
Carry and Holsters
The G43 is one of the most widely supported carry pistols on the market, so holsters, magazine pouches and lights are easy to find. That is a real advantage over less common subcompacts. Note that the standard G43 does not have an accessory rail, so a weapon light requires a model-specific holster-light combination or a different pistol such as the G43X Rail. For concealed carry, a quality holster that covers the trigger guard matters more than the color of the gun.
Honest Caveats
Capacity is the main limitation. Six rounds in the magazine is modest next to newer micro-compacts that hold 10 to 15, and the G43 does not accept the higher-capacity G43X and G48 magazines. A custom Cerakote finish usually costs more than a plain black gun, and resale depends on whether the next buyer likes the color. Because the finish is applied after the factory, questions about the coating may need to go through the finisher or the selling distributor rather than Glock. Mechanically, it is still a Glock.
State Laws and Ownership
The 6-round magazine is compliant in states with 10 or 15 round limits, but some states maintain handgun rosters that control which models may be sold by dealers. California and Massachusetts in particular restrict which Glock models and finishes can be transferred, and Maryland requires a Handgun Qualification License. New York, New Jersey and Illinois have their own permit systems. In Pennsylvania the pistol transfers through a licensed dealer with a background check. Confirm your state and local rules before you order.
