Description
Glock does not usually let anyone cut into its slides, which is what makes the V-Series interesting. The Glock 19 V Series Black Ported is a factory Model 19 that leaves the plant with a ported slide and barrel, a milled RMR optic cut and black Cerakote over the whole gun. It is the compact 9mm that half of America already carries, finished the way people normally pay a custom shop to finish it. MAG5 Firearms LLC in Collegeville, Pennsylvania has it in stock.

What the Porting Actually Does
Ports through the top of the barrel and matching cuts in the slide vent gas upward as the bullet leaves. On a compact 9mm that translates into less muzzle rise and a faster return to the aiming point, which is where the Glock 19 V Series Black Ported earns its price over a standard Model 19.
The tradeoff is the usual one. Ported guns are louder at the shooter’s position and throw a brighter flash in low light, so anyone carrying this should fire it once after dark rather than discover that on a bad night.
Recoil on a 9mm Model 19 was never punishing to begin with, so the porting is about speed rather than comfort. Across a string of five the Glock 19 V Series Black Ported simply stays flatter, and the dot stays in the window instead of lifting out of it.
The RMR Cut and Sighting
The optic cut is milled for the Trijicon RMR footprint, which is the most widely supported pattern on the market. Mounting a red dot on the Glock 19 V Series Black Ported needs no adapter plate and no gunsmith, and the factory Glock OEM sights stay in place underneath as a backup.
That matters more than it sounds. A slide cut after the fact voids the warranty and depends on whoever held the end mill; a factory cut does not, and it keeps the gun eligible for Glock service.
Gen5 Underneath
The V-Series keeps the Gen5 architecture and adds an internal redesign for safety and performance. That means the ambidextrous slide stop, the flared magwell and the flat front strap without finger grooves, so the Glock 19 V Series Black Ported fits a wide range of hands without stippling or a grip reduction.
Three 15 round magazines ship in the case rather than the usual two, which is a small thing that quietly saves about sixty dollars.
Everything else behaves like a Glock, which is the point. Magazines, holsters, triggers, sights and parts that fit a standard Model 19 fit the Glock 19 V Series Black Ported, so nothing about owning one sends you hunting for proprietary components.

Who the Glock 19 V Series Black Ported Suits
Anyone who was already going to buy a Model 19 and then spend another four hundred dollars having it milled and coated should look at this first. The Glock 19 V Series Black Ported arrives finished, under warranty, and without the two-month wait a custom shop quotes.
It also suits shooters who want a red dot on a carry gun but do not want to gamble on an aftermarket slide cut. Holster support is unchanged, since the external dimensions match a standard Model 19.
Competition shooters in carry-optics divisions are a third group. The Glock 19 V Series Black Ported is legal in most of them as it sits, and the factory porting is permitted where compensators are not.
Ordering the Glock 19 V Series Black Ported from MAG5
Handguns ship to a licensed dealer, never to a home address. Send us the FFL for the shop you want to receive the Glock 19 V Series Black Ported, we handle the dealer-to-dealer paperwork, and you complete the federal form and background check in person at pickup. Pennsylvania buyers can transfer with us here in Collegeville.
We are family owned, so a phone call reaches someone who can check the shelf and talk through optics or holsters. MAG5 Firearms does not hold an SOT, so threaded-barrel suppressor builds need a Class 3 dealer in your area.

V-Series guns are built in short factory runs and the ported Model 19 is the configuration that moves first. If the Glock 19 V Series Black Ported shows in stock on this page, it is on our shelf and ready to transfer.
