Care and Cleaning

Cleaning is easy on a Glock. Field-strip the pistol by unloading it, pulling the slide back slightly, and pulling down the slide lock. Clean the barrel with a bore brush and patches, wipe the slide rails, and put a drop of oil on the barrel hood, the slide rails, and the connector. Wipe the optic lens with a soft cloth and keep the mounting screws snug. Avoid harsh solvents on the Cerakote; a light wipe with gun oil is all it needs.
