Fierce Carbon Rival XP 20 65 PRC 22 Overview
The Carbon Rival XP 2.0 is a Fierce bolt action rifle. A bolt action is simple, strong and accurate, which is why it remains the top choice for hunting and precision shooting.
Action and Controls
The Carbon Rival XP 2.0 is a bolt action rifle. It holds 3+1 rounds using DBM. The trigger is TriggerTech Adj Primary ProCurve with a pull of about 1.50-4 lbs. The safety is two-position. This is a right hand model.
Barrel
The 22 inch barrel is carbon fiber with a match grade profile and a 1:8″ twist.
Stock and Fit
The stock is carbon fiber with a desert shadow camo finish. Check the length of pull against your own fit, especially if you shoot in heavy clothing. Metal surfaces wear Smoked Bronze Cerakote and Carbon Fiber.
Size and Handling
It weighs about 6.30 lbs. A steady rest, a good sling and practice from field positions will help you shoot it well.
Ammo and Practice
Try a few brands and bullet weights to see what groups best in this rifle, then buy enough of that load to practice and hunt with the same ammo.
The 6.5 PRC
The 6.5 PRC is a proven chambering. Match your ammunition to your use, and practice with the same loads you plan to rely on.
Deer Hunting and More
This rifle suits deer hunting and, depending on caliber, hogs, black bear and other game. Confirm your zero before the season and know your effective range.
Optics and Accessories
Plan on quality scope rings or mounts, a sling, a hard or soft case and a cleaning kit. A bipod or shooting sticks help a lot for steady shots in the field or at the bench.
Buying Tips
Budget for quality optics or sights, a sling and ammo, and confirm your zero at the distances you expect to shoot.
Care and Value
Clean the bore and action after each range trip or hunt, keep moving parts lightly oiled and wipe the finish after handling. A well kept Fierce holds its value.
State Laws
Some states limit semi-auto features, magazine capacity and hunting calibers. Check your local law before you buy. Pennsylvania buyers can transfer at our Collegeville shop or at any FFL.
