Fierce Carbon Razor 22LR 18 Overview
The Carbon Razor is a Fierce bolt action rifle. A bolt action is simple, strong and accurate, which is why it remains the top choice for hunting and precision shooting.
Action and Controls
The Carbon Razor is a bolt action rifle. It holds 10+1 rounds. The trigger is TriggerTech Adj Primary ProCurve with a pull of about 1.50-4 lbs. The safety is two-position. This is a right hand model.
Barrel
The 18 inch barrel is carbon fiber/stainless steel with a carbon fiber threaded profile.
Stock and Fit
The stock is carbon fiber with a forest camo finish. The length of pull is 13″. Metal surfaces wear Black Cerakote.
Size and Handling
It weighs about 5.50 lbs. A steady rest, a good sling and practice from field positions will help you shoot it well.
Ammo and Practice
Rimfire ammo varies a lot between brands, so try a few to find what feeds and groups best in this rifle before you buy in bulk.
The 22 LR
The 22 LR is cheap, quiet and has almost no recoil, which makes it the best round for practice, small game and new shooters.
Small Game and Plinking
This rifle is great for small game, plinking and teaching new shooters, with cheap ammo and almost no recoil.
Optics and Accessories
Plan on quality scope rings or mounts, a sling, a hard or soft case and a cleaning kit. A bipod or shooting sticks help a lot for steady shots in the field or at the bench.
Buying Tips
Budget for quality optics or sights, a sling and ammo, and confirm your zero at the distances you expect to shoot.
Care and Value
Clean the bore and action after each range trip or hunt, keep moving parts lightly oiled and wipe the finish after handling. A well kept Fierce holds its value.
State Laws
Some states limit semi-auto features, magazine capacity and hunting calibers. Check your local law before you buy. Pennsylvania buyers can transfer at our Collegeville shop or at any FFL.
Ordering and Transfer
When you order a firearm from MAG5 Firearms, we ship it to the licensed dealer you choose. Your dealer completes the ATF Form 4473 and the background check, and may charge a transfer fee. Local buyers can complete the transfer at our shop. Bring a valid ID, and check your state waiting period before you plan a hunt or a range trip.
Safe Storage
Store the firearm unloaded in a locked safe or case, with ammunition kept separately. A cable lock or trigger lock is a good backup, especially in a home with children or visitors. Keep the original box and paperwork, and record the serial number in a safe place in case the gun is ever lost or stolen.
