Description
The Federal 30 Super Carry 100gr FMJ load is built for shooters who want more from their 30 Super Carry than typical factory ammunition delivers. Federal loads a 100 grain full metal jacket to a rated 1250 feet per second, producing about 347 foot-pounds of energy. Federal American Eagle is the company’s everyday training line, built to shoot clean and feed reliably so you can put real volume through your rifle or pistol without paying premium-hunting-load prices. It is meant for practice, qualification and plinking rather than hunting or defense.
Why Choose the Federal 30 Super Carry 100gr FMJ
- 100 grain full metal jacket bullet
- Rated 1250 fps and 347 ft-lbs
- Brass cases with reliable primers
- Affordable, consistent practice ammo
- 50 rounds per box, item AE30SCA
Built for Training and Practice
- Affordable load for regular range practice
- Reliable feeding and ignition
- Consistent velocities for repeatable practice
- Quality brass cases
Buying ammunition by the box from the same production lot keeps velocity and point of impact consistent from one range trip to the next. Keep a record of the load you carry, check your ammunition for dents or loose bullets from time to time, and rotate your carry rounds so the ones in your firearm stay fresh. These simple habits help you get the full performance Federal builds into every cartridge.
Before you trust any new load, fire enough rounds through your firearm to confirm it feeds, fires and ejects reliably and that the point of impact matches your sights. Full-power loads produce more recoil and muzzle blast than typical range ammo, so practice with the Federal 30 Super Carry 100gr FMJ until you are comfortable with it, and store the rest in a cool, dry place in the original box.
About the 30 Super Carry
The 30 Super Carry was introduced by Federal in 2022 as a compact carry cartridge. It is smaller in diameter than 9mm, so a pistol of the same size can hold more rounds, while Federal rates its energy close to standard-pressure 9mm loads. It is still a newer cartridge, so check that your pistol is chambered for it and that ammunition is easy to find before committing to it for carry.
