Federal 22 Hornet 35gr Tipped Varmint – Reliable .22 Hornet Varmint Ammo, 3000 fps, 50 Rounds

Description

The Federal 22 Hornet 35gr Tipped Varmint load is built for shooters who want more from their .22 Hornet than typical factory ammunition delivers. Federal loads a 35 grain polymer tipped varmint to a rated 3000 feet per second, producing about 700 foot-pounds of energy. The polymer tip improves ballistic efficiency and starts rapid expansion on small varmints, while the light bullet keeps recoil and report mild.

Why Choose the Federal 22 Hornet 35gr Tipped Varmint

• 35 grain polymer tipped varmint bullet
• Rated 3000 fps and 700 ft-lbs
• Brass cases with reliable primers
• Polymer tip for rapid expansion
• 50 rounds per box, item AE22H35TVP

Built for Varmints and Predators

• Flat trajectory for small, distant targets
• Rapid expansion on varmints and predators
• Quality brass cases and reliable primers
• Consistent accuracy shot after shot

Buying ammunition by the box from the same production lot keeps velocity and point of impact consistent from one range trip to the next. Keep a record of the load you carry, check your ammunition for dents or loose bullets from time to time, and rotate your carry rounds so the ones in your firearm stay fresh. These simple habits help you get the full performance Federal builds into every cartridge.

Before you trust any new load, fire enough rounds through your firearm to confirm it feeds, fires and ejects reliably and that the point of impact matches your sights. Full-power loads produce more recoil and muzzle blast than typical range ammo, so practice with the Federal 22 Hornet 35gr Tipped Varmint until you are comfortable with it, and store the rest in a cool, dry place in the original box.

The .22 Hornet was introduced commercially by Winchester in the early 1930s and is one of the oldest centerfire varmint cartridges still in production. It is prized for its low noise and mild recoil, which make it ideal for farm and ranch varmint control at moderate distances where a louder cartridge would be unwelcome.

Why Choose Federal 22 Hornet Ammo

Varmint and predator hunters looking for 22 hornet varmint ammo want flat trajectories and rapid expansion. This American Eagle Varmint and Predator load from Federal is built for exactly that kind of shooting, with a bullet designed to open quickly on small targets.

The 22 hornet 35 grain tipped bullet leaves the muzzle at about 3000 fps with roughly 700 ft-lbs of energy. That gives flat trajectories out to typical varmint distances with very little recoil, making follow-up shots quick and easy.
