EOTech sells this sight as the EFLX Pistol Optic, part EFLX6MOA. The base uses the Leupold Delta Point Pro footprint, so it fits slides milled for that pattern and works with common mounting plates. It weighs about 1.4 oz and measures about 1.9 x 1.2 x 1.0 in. One CR2032 battery loads from the top, so you can change it without removing the sight or losing zero. EOTech rates battery life at about 20,000 hours at brightness level 5 for the 6 MOA dot.
The 6 MOA Dot
A 6 MOA dot covers about 6 inches at 100 yards. That bigger dot is easier to find and track during fast shooting and recoil, which is why many carry and duty shooters prefer it on a pistol.
Brightness and Night Vision
The EFLX has 8 daylight brightness settings plus 1 setting for night vision devices. Windage and elevation adjust in 1 MOA clicks. The included multi adjustment tool handles the turrets, and a Torx wrench is in the box for the mounting screws.
Mounting Options
On a pistol, the EFLX mounts directly to slides cut for the Delta Point Pro, or to an optic plate made for that footprint. It can also go on a rear dovetail adapter for slides that are not milled. On a rifle, it works well as an offset or piggyback 1x sight next to a magnified scope, giving you a fast close range option without changing optics.

Zeroing Tips
Most pistol shooters zero a red dot at 15 to 25 yards. Start close to get on paper, then adjust in 1 MOA steps. Each click moves point of impact about a quarter inch at 25 yards. If you co-witness with suppressor height iron sights, confirm the irons and the dot agree after you finish.
