Description

The Combat Armory CA19 9mm Threaded RMR is a compact, Glock 19 pattern 9mm pistol with a threaded barrel, an RMR cut slide and tall sights. Combat Armory model CA19PSTHR-RMRTL has a 4.49 inch stainless steel threaded barrel, a serrated matte black steel slide, a glass reinforced polymer frame with embedded stainless steel rails, and 15+1 capacity.

Combat Armory CA19 9mm Threaded RMR Overview

Combat Armory built the CA19 to be compatible with Gen 3 OEM and aftermarket parts, so you can upgrade triggers, sights and other components with the huge selection of Glock pattern parts. The frame is made of glass reinforced nylon polymer with embedded stainless steel rails for durability, and it has a medium aggressive grip texture, a high undercut trigger guard, a scalloped magazine release well and forward landing pads for your support hand fingers.

The serrated matte black steel slide is cut for an RMR footprint red dot and wears tall suppressor height sights that co-witness with many optics. 49 inch stainless barrel has conventional 1:10 rifling and a threaded muzzle for a compensator or suppressor. The frame has a Glock style accessory rail, the pistol fits Glock 19 style holsters and lights, and it uses Magpul style magazines. 35 inches overall.

Glock Pattern Compatibility

Because the CA19 is designed around Gen 3 Glock 19 parts, you can choose from thousands of sights, triggers, slides, holsters and magazines. That makes it easy to build the pistol you want over time.

Suppressor and Optic Ready

The threaded barrel, tall sights and RMR cut slide make the CA19 ready for a red dot and a suppressor out of the box. It is a great value for shooters who want a modern, fully featured carry or home defense pistol.

Setup Tips

Mount an RMR footprint red dot, choose a quality holster that fits a threaded barrel and optic, and test your defensive ammunition for reliable feeding. Keep a thread protector on the barrel when not using a muzzle device.

Practice and Training

Regular practice builds confidence and safe handling. Start at close range, focus on sight alignment and a smooth trigger press, and work back as your groups tighten. Dry fire with snap caps at home to improve your trigger control between range trips.

Choosing Ammunition

Try several brands and bullet weights to see what feeds reliably and groups best in your handgun. Use quality full metal jacket loads for practice and proven hollow points for defense, and confirm reliable function with your defensive load before carrying it.

Care and Maintenance

Clean the barrel, slide or cylinder and frame after shooting, apply a light coat of quality lubricant to moving parts, and store the handgun unloaded in a locked case or safe away from children.

Safe Storage

Store handguns unloaded in a locked safe, lockbox or with a cable lock, and keep ammunition separate when children are in the home. Quick access safes keep a defensive handgun secure but available. Teach everyone in the household basic firearm safety rules.

Recommended Accessories

A quality holster, spare magazines, eye and ear protection and a cleaning kit round out any handgun purchase. For defensive use, add a weapon light and practice drawing safely from your holster with an unloaded gun before carrying.
