Cimarron Arizona Ranger 357 475 Overview
What sets the Arizona Ranger apart from a standard 1873 clone is the work Cimarron does in Texas. Each action is tuned by Cimarron’s gunsmiths with its own made in USA competition hammer, trigger and bolt springs, which give a lighter, smoother hammer and a crisp trigger with no creep, along with improved internal parts for reliability. The sights are upgraded to a wide square-notch rear and a wide, constant-width front blade that are much easier to see than a traditional V-notch. Slim checkered walnut grips give a firmer hold.
It is built on a Pre-War style frame with a standard hammer, and weighs about 39 ounces.
Made for Cowboy Action
SASS shooters spend real money having single actions tuned, and the Arizona Ranger arrives ready to compete. Lighter springs make cocking faster and less tiring over a long match, and the improved sights help on fast transitions between steel targets.

357 Magnum and 38 Special
The cylinder holds six rounds of 357 Magnum and also fires 38 Special. Light 38 Special lead loads are the normal choice for practice and matches because they recoil less and cost less. Lighter competition springs can occasionally give light primer strikes with very hard primers, so test your match ammo.
Traditional Single Action Safety
Like an original Peacemaker, this revolver should be carried with five rounds and the hammer down on an empty chamber. The hammer must be cocked by hand for each shot.

Finish and Care
The blued barrel and cylinder and the case colored frame need a light coat of oil after handling. If you shoot black powder cowboy loads, clean the gun the same day.
