Description

The Christensen Arms MPR 7mm PRC is the long-barreled configuration of Christensen chassis rifle, built for shooters who want every bit of what 7mm PRC can produce. It runs a 26 inch carbon fiber wrapped target profile barrel, a tungsten anodized 7075 billet folding chassis, an FFT carbon fiber M-LOK handguard, and it holds 5+1 with a sub-MOA guarantee.
Christensen Arms MPR 7mm PRC Barrel and Length
The barrel is 416R stainless wrapped in aerospace grade carbon fiber in a target profile, button rifled, match chambered, and free floating inside the handguard. Twenty-six inches is the longest offering in the line, and in 7mm PRC it is the length that gets the cartridge to its advertised velocities rather than most of the way there.
That extra barrel matters more than it might seem. 7mm PRC was designed around slow-burning powders and long, heavy, high-BC bullets, and the difference between a 22 and a 26 inch tube is real velocity that translates directly into less wind drift and more retained energy at distance. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 with a removable adjustable stainless side baffle brake.
Chassis, Folding Stock, and Adjustability
The chassis is machined from 7075 aluminum billet and anodized tungsten, and it folds using Christensen MagneLock system, which holds the stock closed with a magnet rather than a latch that can loosen or rattle. On a rifle with a 26 inch barrel, folding the stock is the difference between fitting a normal case and needing an oversized one.
Everything that should adjust does. Length of pull runs 12.5 to 14.5 inches, the carbon fiber cheek riser moves through a full inch of height, and the grip is standard AR pattern so you can fit whatever shape suits you. Six flush cup QD points and a four inch forward Picatinny section handle slings and accessories.
Action, Rail, and Trigger
The receiver is black nitride aluminum, precision machined on a Remington 700 footprint with an M16 style extractor and a dual ejector for magnum cartridges. A 20 MOA Picatinny rail comes installed, which buys back elevation travel inside the scope for genuinely long shooting. The bolt is spiral fluted with a skeletonized handle and an oversized knob.
The action is V-block bedded into the chassis and feeds from AICS pattern detachable magazines, holding five rounds in this chambering. The trigger is a TriggerTech Flat two-stage, which is the configuration most precision shooters prefer for a predictable wall and a clean break.

Why Buyers Choose the Christensen Arms MPR 7mm PRC
This is the configuration for shooters who care about the last hundred feet per second. A 26 inch carbon wrapped barrel gives you full velocity without the weight penalty a 26 inch steel target barrel would carry, and the chassis gives you the adjustability and stability to actually use that ballistic advantage.
The folding stock is what makes the length practical. Fold it and the rifle drops to something you can fit in a normal case or behind a truck seat, which is not true of most 26 inch precision rifles.
Who Should Buy It
The Christensen Arms MPR 7mm PRC suits long range competitors, hunters who take genuinely long shots and shoot from bipods or tripods, and anyone who wants maximum 7mm PRC performance in a rifle that still travels well. The AICS magazines and 20 MOA rail make it easy to build out. If you hunt on foot and carry the rifle for miles, the Ridgeline FFT in the same chambering will be considerably lighter and shorter.
