Description
The Canik TP9 Elite SC Burnt Bronze is a Lipsey’s special run of Canik’s subcompact carry pistol, with a Burnt Bronze Cerakote slide over a black polymer frame, a 3.6-inch barrel, an optic-ready slide and two magazines that give you 12 or 15 rounds of 9mm.

Canik TP9 Elite SC Burnt Bronze Overview
Canik built the TP9 Elite SC to bring the trigger and ergonomics of its full-size TP9 pistols into a gun small enough to carry every day. This version, Canik model HG5610B-N, keeps the standard Elite SC features and dresses the steel slide in a bronze Cerakote finish that wears better than a painted coating and stands out from the usual black carry gun. It ships in a hard case with the accessory kit Canik is known for, including a holster, so you can start carrying without buying much else.
Trigger and Shootability
The striker-fired action uses Canik’s flat-faced trigger with a short, crisp break and a short reset, which is the main reason Canik pistols have earned a following among people who shoot a lot. For a subcompact, the Elite SC is easy to shoot accurately, and its 6.7-inch overall length and 1.45-inch width keep it practical. The tradeoff of any small 9mm applies: muzzle flip is snappier than a full-size gun, so plan on regular practice to stay fast on follow-up shots.

Sights and Optic Mounting
From the factory the slide wears Warren Tactical sights, a green fiber-optic front with a U-notch rear, which are quick to pick up in daylight. Fiber optics are not tritium, so they lose much of their glow in very low light. The slide is cut for a micro red dot, and Canik includes an optic adapter plate so popular small optics such as the Shield RMSc footprint can be mounted. Confirm plate compatibility for your specific optic before ordering one.
Capacity and Magazines
The pistol ships with one flush 12-round magazine and one extended 15-round magazine, so you can trade a shorter grip for concealment against more capacity and a full grip for the range. The Elite SC uses Canik’s sub-compact TP9 magazines, and spare 10-round magazines are available for buyers in states with capacity limits. Factory Canik magazines have a good track record, and buying a couple of spares is cheap insurance for training and carry.

Carry and Holsters
At about 1.55 pounds unloaded and 4.6 inches tall, the TP9 Elite SC rides comfortably inside the waistband. The included holster works for both inside and outside the waistband carry, which covers most owners at first. Holster selection beyond that is good because the Elite SC has been on the market for several years, but always pick a holster made for this exact model, and a cut for a red dot if you mount one. A cover garment and a sturdy gun belt make concealed carry noticeably more comfortable.
Finish and Durability
Cerakote is a ceramic-based coating that resists corrosion, solvents and scratches better than paint or bluing, which suits a pistol that will be carried against the body. It is still a coating, so expect some honest holster wear on sharp edges over time. The bronze color is matched to Canik’s burnt bronze offerings and pairs well with a black optic. Clean the slide with standard solvents and avoid abrasive pads that can polish the finish.
State Laws and Ownership
Magazine capacity limits and approved handgun rosters vary by state, and some states will not allow the 15-round magazine or this model at all. Check your state and local rules before ordering. We ship firearms only to licensed FFL dealers, and we do not ship to Massachusetts or Oregon. Your receiving dealer completes the transfer paperwork and the background check.

Before You Buy
Federal law requires you to be 21 or older to buy a handgun from a licensed dealer, and the pistol must ship to an FFL for transfer and a background check. Note that distributor listings and our original title list a 3.5-inch barrel, while Canik and Lipsey’s list 3.6 inches. Clean and lubricate the pistol and fire a few hundred rounds of your carry ammunition before relying on it.
Who It Is For
The Canik TP9 Elite SC Burnt Bronze is a great fit for shooters who want a subcompact carry pistol with a better trigger than most in its class, a factory optic cut and a finish that is not plain black.
