Description
The Browning T-Bolt Target Bottomland 22 WMR is a rifle chambered in 22 WMR with a 22-inch barrel and a 10+1 capacity. Browning lists it as item number 025259204.
Browning T-Bolt Target Bottomland 22 WMR Overview
The T-Bolt is Browning’s straight-pull bolt-action rimfire rifle, famous for its fast, smooth action and its Double Helix rotary magazine that feeds reliably and sits flush with the stock.
Design and Features
This T-Bolt Target / Varmint – Mossy Oak Bottomland features a matte blued barrel finish, a polished blued receiver, a MOBL black composite stock, a threaded muzzle (1/2 – 28 SR), and an Plastic Butt Plate recoil pad. The barrel has a 1:14-inch twist. Magazine capacity is 10. It weighs 5 lbs 10 oz and measures 40 1/4″ overall. Length of pull is 13 1/2″.
Handling in the Field
It shoulders comfortably and balances well, so it carries easily in the field and settles quickly for the shot.
Action and Trigger
The straight-pull bolt lets you cycle with a quick back-and-forth motion, and the trigger is adjustable and crisp.
Sights and Optics
Mount the optic of your choice with quality rings or a mount, and zero it with the load you plan to use.
The 22 WMR Cartridge
The 22 WMR gives noticeably more speed and energy than the 22 LR with very light recoil, great for small game and varmints.
Setup and Accessories
Start with a quality optic and solid rings or a mount, then add a sling for carrying and a bipod or shooting bag for steady rests. Test a few loads for accuracy and settle on the one your rifle likes best. A hard case protects your investment on the way to the range or the field.
Ownership Tips
Read the owner manual fully before your first range trip, and keep the manual, box, and receipt with your records for warranty service and resale. Unload the rifle and confirm it is empty before cleaning. Field-strip it according to the owner manual, scrub the bore with a brush and patches, and wipe carbon from the bolt face and chamber. Apply a light coat of quality gun oil to the contact points, and wipe the exterior with a lightly oiled cloth before storage.
