Description
The Browning T-Bolt Sporter Maple 22 LR is a straight pull bolt action rimfire rifle with a 22 inch polished blued sporter barrel and an AAAA grade maple stock. This listing is UPC 023614856993, Browning item 025256202. It weighs about 5 lb 10 oz, measures 40 1/8 inches overall and holds 10 rounds in the Double Helix rotary magazine.
Browning T-Bolt Sporter Maple 22 LR Overview
The T-Bolt is one of the most distinctive 22 rifles on the market. Instead of lifting and pulling the bolt handle, you simply pull straight back and push forward, which makes it fast and fun to shoot. This maple stocked Sporter was a Browning SHOT Show special for 2026 and is as much a showpiece as a squirrel rifle.
Straight Pull Bolt
The straight pull action cycles faster than a traditional bolt and keeps your cheek on the stock between shots. It takes a few boxes of ammo to get used to, but most shooters find it very natural once they do.
AAAA Maple Stock
The stock is AAAA grade maple, a very high grade of figured wood, with 20 lines per inch cut checkering. Browning lists a 13 1/2 inch length of pull, which suits younger and smaller shooters as well as most adults. Wood figure varies from rifle to rifle.
Double Helix Magazine
The 10 round Double Helix rotary magazine sits flush with the stock and feeds smoothly. It is a Browning design, so buy spares made for the T-Bolt.
Barrel, Trigger and Optics
The 22 inch steel sporter barrel has a polished blued finish and a 1:16 twist, the standard rate for 22 LR. The trigger is adjustable and gold plated, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts.
Ammunition
Standard velocity and high velocity 40 grain 22 LR both work well. Try a few brands, since rimfire rifles often shoot one load noticeably better than another.
Cleaning and Care
Clean the bore every few hundred rounds and keep the bolt lightly oiled. Wipe the maple stock with a soft cloth and keep it out of prolonged rain to protect the finish.
State Laws
Rimfire rifles are legal in most places. Pennsylvania buyers can transfer at our Collegeville shop or at any FFL.
