Browning Cynergy Wicked Wing 12 Gauge Overview

The Cynergy is the most modern over and under in the Browning line. Its ultra-low profile receiver puts your hands closer to the bore line, which helps the gun point naturally and reduces muzzle rise. The Wicked Wing version is built for waterfowl, with a 3 1/2 inch chamber, a tough Cerakote finish and camo that disappears in a blind.

Ultra-Low Profile Receiver

Browning built the Cynergy around a MonoLock hinge, which lets the steel receiver sit lower than a traditional over and under. The low profile keeps recoil in a straighter line into your shoulder and makes the gun feel quick between the hands.

Burnt Bronze Cerakote and Camo

The barrels and receiver wear Burnt Bronze Cerakote, a ceramic based coating that resists rust and salt water far better than bluing. The composite stock is covered in Realtree Max-7 and has textured grip panels for a sure hold with wet or gloved hands.

Inflex Recoil Pad

Browning fits the Cynergy Inflex recoil pad, which is designed to pull the comb down and away from your face under recoil. Browning lists a 14 1/4 inch length of pull.

Barrels and Chokes

The 26 inch barrels have chrome plated chambers, a 5/16 inch rib and an ivory front bead. They take banded extended Invector-Plus chokes, and Browning includes Full, Modified and Improved Cylinder.

3 1/2 Inch Shells

The 3 1/2 inch chamber handles heavy goose and turkey loads, but those shells kick hard in a gun under 8 pounds. Many waterfowlers find 3 inch loads plenty for ducks and keep the 3 1/2 inch shells for geese.

Cleaning and Care

Clean the bores and chokes after each outing and keep the choke threads lightly greased. Wipe the gun down after a wet hunt and let it dry before casing it.

State Laws

Shotguns are legal to buy in most places, but hunting rules vary by state and species. Pennsylvania buyers can transfer at our Collegeville shop or at any FFL.
