Description
The Browning Citori CX Adj 12 Ga is a shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge with a 30-inch barrel. Browning lists it as item number 018111303.
Browning Citori CX Adj 12 Ga Overview
The Citori is Browning’s iconic over/under shotgun, trusted for decades by hunters and clay shooters for its strong action, fine balance, and lasting reliability.
Design and Features
This Citori CX with Adjustable Comb features a polished blued barrel finish, a Gloss black walnut stock (grade Grade II), an Inflex 2, Large recoil pad, Invector-Plus Midas choke tubes (Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder included), a ivory bead front sight, and cut 18 lpi. It is chambered for shells up to 3″. It weighs 8 lbs 1 oz and measures 47″ overall. Length of pull is 14 1/4″.
Handling in the Field
It mounts smoothly and swings naturally, helping you stay on fast-moving targets in the field or on the clays course.
Action and Trigger
The single selective trigger is crisp, and the tang safety and barrel selector are easy to operate.
Sights and Optics
Mount the optic of your choice with quality rings or a mount, and zero it with the load you plan to use.
The 12 Gauge Cartridge
The 12 gauge is the most popular shotgun gauge in America, with the widest selection of loads for clays, upland birds, waterfowl, turkey, deer slugs, and home-defense buckshot.
Setup and Accessories
Set your shotgun up for its job: hunters will want a sling and a few choke tubes, clay shooters may add a recoil pad, and a home-defense setup benefits from a weapon light. Pattern every load and choke combination you plan to use.
Ownership Tips
Read the owner manual fully before your first range trip, and keep the manual, box, and receipt with your records for warranty service and resale. Unload the shotgun and confirm it is empty before cleaning. Field-strip it according to the owner manual, scrub the bore with a brush and patches, and wipe carbon from the action and choke threads. Apply a light coat of quality gun oil to the contact points, and wipe the exterior with a lightly oiled cloth before storage.
State Laws
Magazine capacity limits, feature restrictions, and transfer rules vary by state and locality. Check your local laws before ordering, and ask your receiving dealer if you are unsure whether this configuration is legal where you live.
Ordering and Transfer
When you order a firearm from MAG5 Firearms, we ship it to the licensed dealer you choose. Your dealer completes the ATF Form 4473 and the background check, and may charge a transfer fee. Local buyers can complete the transfer at our shop. Bring a valid ID, and check your state waiting period before you plan a hunt or a range trip.
Safe Storage
Store the firearm unloaded in a locked safe or case, with ammunition kept separately. A cable lock or trigger lock is a good backup, especially in a home with children or visitors. Keep the original box and paperwork, and record the serial number in a safe place in case the gun is ever lost or stolen.
