Description

The B&P Competition One 12ga 1oz Target Load load gives 12 gauge shooters a true competition-grade target shell. Baschieri & Pellagri loads 1 ounce of #7-1/2 lead shot into a 2-3/4 inch hull at a rated 1160 feet per second, delivering consistent patterns on skeet, trap and sporting clays targets. The Competition One line features the company Gordon System technology, designed to lessen felt recoil so you can shoot longer with less fatigue. The #7-1/2 shot size balances pattern density and pellet energy, making it a versatile choice for trap and sporting clays.

• Smooth 1160 fps load
• Made in Italy by Baschieri & Pellagri

Baschieri & Pellagri has made shotshells in Italy since 1885, and its Competition One line is a favorite at trap and skeet clubs across the country. Baschieri and pellagri 12 gauge Competition One shells are sold by the box and by the case, and buying from the same lot keeps your patterns and timing consistent from week to week.

Pattern your shotgun at 20 and 30 yards to see how your chokes perform with this load. Store shotshells in a cool, dry place in their original boxes, and clean your barrel after long sessions to remove wad fouling. A 25-round box matches a standard round of trap or skeet, so it is easy to plan for league night.

If you shoot a lot of targets, consider buying by the case to keep a consistent lot of shells all season. Pattern your shotgun at 30 and 40 yards to see how your chokes perform with #7-1/2 shot.

New shooters often find a 1 ounce 12 gauge load much more pleasant than heavier hunting loads, which makes this a good choice for lessons and youth programs as well as experienced competitors. The same load also performs well on dove and other small upland birds early in the season.

Why Choose 12 Gauge Target Loads

A 1 ounce load of #7-1/2 shot is one of the most versatile choices in clay shooting. It carries enough energy for longer trap and sporting clays targets while keeping recoil noticeably lower than a 1-1/8 ounce load, which makes a big difference over a full day of shooting.

At 1160 fps, these 12 gauge trap loads feel smooth and predictable, helping you build consistent timing. Paired with the Gordon System hull, they are among the softest-shooting 1 oz 12 gauge shells available for serious practice.

Many shooters use this load as an all-around choice for trap, sporting clays and even skeet on windy days.

Trap and sporting clays shooters, league members and anyone who wants a comfortable, versatile 12 gauge target load will get dependable performance from this 25-round box. Always confirm your shotgun is chambered for 2-3/4 inch 12 gauge shells, wear eye and ear protection, and follow all federal, state and local laws.
