It is built on the stainless Stinger RS frame with the Rough Series finish, measures 5.5 inches long and weighs about 17.5 ounces.
Bond Arms Honey B 380 ACP Overview
Bond Arms builds its derringers in Granbury, Texas, from stainless steel. They are simple, strong and compact, and they are popular as backup guns, trail guns and collector pieces. The Honey B pairs the slim Stinger RS frame with the full size B6 grip, so it fills your hand like a larger pistol while staying small enough for a pocket holster.
Small Gun, Full Grip
The Honey B is only 5.5 inches long, yet the extended grip gives your whole hand something to hold, which makes a big difference in control with a two shot pistol. Owners often call it a joy to shoot, and in .380 ACP it pairs mild recoil with a practical defensive cartridge.
Two Barrels
Like other Bond Arms derringers, this pistol has two stacked barrels and fires one round from each. On standard Bond Arms frames, the barrel block can be swapped for barrels in other calibers, so one frame can cover several cartridges.
Safety and Action
Bond Arms pistols are single action, so you cock the hammer for each shot. A cross-bolt safety and a rebounding hammer add security. Bond Arms warns owners never to carry its handguns cocked and locked, so carry with the hammer down and follow the owner manual.
Grip and Frame
The stainless frame and 3 inch barrel wear the tumbled Rough Series finish, a matte surface that hides holster wear. The resin grip is textured and shaped to fill the palm, so the pistol stays put when you fire.
Choosing Ammunition
This pistol fires .380 ACP, one of the mildest centerfire defensive cartridges, which makes it comfortable in a small two shot pistol. Choose a quality hollow point for carry and practice with the same weight bullet.
Carry
A derringer carries well in a pocket or belt holster made for Bond Arms frames. Practice drawing, cocking and firing with an unloaded gun until it becomes second nature.
Cleaning and Care
Stainless steel resists rust, but clean both bores after each range trip, especially after shooting lead bullets or shot shells. Wipe the frame with a lightly oiled cloth before storage.
State Laws
Some states and cities restrict handgun purchases or limit which models can be sold. Check your state and local laws before you order. Pennsylvania buyers can transfer at our Collegeville shop or at any FFL.
