Description

Auto Ordnance M1 45 ACP Semi-Automatic Rifle

The Auto Ordnance M1 45 ACP is a semi-automatic rifle built for shooters who want authentic military-inspired style paired with modern reliability. Chambered in 45 ACP, this rifle pays tribute to the iconic M1 Carbine platform while offering the practical feel of a home-defense or range companion. Its 16.5 inch barrel delivers steady accuracy at typical shooting distances, and the blued steel finish provides a classic, durable exterior that resists wear from repeated range sessions. Whether you are a collector, a first-time rifle owner, or an experienced shooter, this model brings dependable performance in a package that feels solid in hand.

Beyond its historical inspiration, this rifle is built with practical features that matter on the range. The walnut stock and forend are shaped for a comfortable, secure grip, helping shooters manage recoil during extended sessions. A blade front sight paired with a fixed rear sight gives users a straightforward, no-fuss aiming system suited to close and mid-range shooting. Fed from a 30-round magazine, the rifle keeps you shooting longer between reloads, making it a great option for range days, informal competition, or simply enjoying an afternoon of trigger time without constantly stopping to reload.

Key Features and Benefits

One of the standout features of this rifle is its 16.5 inch blued barrel, which balances maneuverability with enough sight radius for confident aiming. The blued finish is not just about looks; it also helps protect the metal surfaces from surface corrosion when the rifle is properly maintained. Combined with the fixed sight setup, shooters get a rifle that is easy to bring up quickly and align on target. For anyone who appreciates classic firearm aesthetics without sacrificing modern manufacturing tolerances, this barrel and sight combination offers a satisfying blend of nostalgia and everyday shootability.

The stock and foregrip are crafted from genuine walnut, giving the rifle a warm, traditional look that stands apart from polymer-stocked modern rifles. Walnut furniture also tends to hold up well over decades of use, developing character rather than showing wear the way synthetic materials sometimes do. The black accents throughout the design complement the wood tones, creating a rifle that looks equally at home in a display case or out on the firing line. This attention to material choice reflects the brand’s commitment to producing rifles that respect the heritage of the original M1 design.

Chambered in 45 ACP, this rifle offers a pistol-caliber option that many shooters already stock ammunition for, simplifying range trips and reducing the need to buy a separate caliber just for this rifle. The 30-round magazine capacity is generous for a semi-automatic rifle in this class, and included with one magazine, shooters can get to the range and start shooting right away. Recoil in 45 ACP is manageable in a rifle-length platform, making this a comfortable option for new shooters, younger family members, or anyone who wants a fun, low-recoil range gun that still commands attention.
