Arsenal SAM7SF-84E 7.62×39 Rifle

Description

Arsenal SAM7SF-84E 7.62×39 Rifle

The Arsenal SAM7SF-84E is a semi-automatic AK-pattern rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, built by Arsenal in Bulgaria on a genuine milled receiver for exceptional strength and long-term durability. This rifle pairs a chrome-lined, hammer-forged barrel with a 24×1.5mm threaded muzzle fitted with a muzzle brake and bayonet lug, giving shooters a combat-proven platform that has served militaries and civilian marksmen alike for decades. Finished in a striking OD Green with matching furniture, the SAM7SF-84E stands out visually while delivering the rugged reliability Arsenal rifles are known for.

Underneath the classic AK exterior, this rifle runs FIME’s enhanced fire control group (FM-922EUS) for a crisper, more consistent trigger pull than a standard stamped AK trigger. The right-side folding stock is built from steel for added rigidity, and a side-mounted scope rail lets shooters add a red dot or optic without permanently modifying the receiver. A 1:9.44-inch rate of twist stabilizes the full range of 7.62x39mm loads, while fixed iron sights come standard for immediate use straight out of the box. At 8.5 pounds and 38.2 inches overall, it balances well for offhand shooting and rapid follow-up shots.

Key Features and Benefits

The Arsenal SAM7SF-84E’s milled receiver is the defining feature that separates it from stamped-receiver AK rifles. Machined from a solid billet rather than bent sheet steel, the milled receiver adds mass and rigidity exactly where the rifle needs it most, resulting in tighter tolerances, reduced flex under recoil, and a reputation for long-term accuracy retention that stamped guns struggle to match. Combined with the chrome-lined, hammer-forged barrel, corrosion resistance and barrel life both improve significantly, making this rifle a strong choice for shooters who put high volumes of ammunition through their firearms without babying the bore between range sessions.

Beyond raw strength, the OD Green furniture and matching magazine give this rifle a distinct look that sets it apart from the sea of black polymer AKs on dealer shelves. The muzzle brake tames recoil and muzzle rise across strings of rapid fire, while the bayonet lug preserves the rifle’s traditional military heritage for collectors who appreciate historically accurate features. Swivel studs are installed front and rear, so a sling can be attached immediately without gunsmithing, and the folding stock lets the rifle collapse to a shorter overall length for storage in a safe, case, or vehicle without removing components.

The FIME-enhanced fire control group (FM-922EUS) is another upgrade worth highlighting, since it replaces the often gritty factory AK trigger with a smoother, more predictable break that helps shooters place shots more precisely, especially during rapid strings of fire. The side-mounted scope rail accepts a standard AK-style optic mount, so red dots, low-power variable optics, or magnified scopes can be added without any drilling or permanent modification. Ten-round magazine compliance is built in from the factory, making this rifle straightforward to purchase and own in magazine-restricted states without aftermarket parts or conversions.
