Description
The Akkar 512 High Noon Elite 12 gauge is the flagship of the High Noon over/under line, and it is the one most shooters will actually want. Built as part number 211002, it pairs 28-inch glossy blued barrels with select walnut and an engraved receiver, delivering the look of a traditional field double at a price that leaves money in the budget for shells.

Why the Akkar 512 High Noon Elite 12 Gauge Works So Well
Twelve gauge remains the most flexible chambering in shotgunning, and an over/under is the most flexible way to shoot it. Two barrels give you two chokes on demand, the stacked layout keeps a single narrow sighting plane in front of your eye, and the break action makes safe handling obvious on a crowded clays station. Around 45 inches overall, this one balances between the hands rather than hanging out front.
28-Inch Glossy Blued Barrels with Raised Vent Rib
Barrels run 28 inches, the length most target and upland shooters settle on, and wear a deep high-gloss blue. The raised ventilated rib lifts your eye to a clean sightline down to the bead, which helps enormously on rising targets, while the vents bleed heat shimmer during a hot round of skeet or a fast dove shoot.
Five Flush Chokes and a 3-Inch Chamber
Five flush-fitting choke tubes are included, spanning skeet, improved cylinder, modified and improved modified. That range covers everything from tight station-eight shots to longer pass shooting, and you can set each barrel independently. A 2¾ to 3-inch chamber means cheap promo target loads and heavier 3-inch hunting shells both feed without complaint.
Select Walnut, Engraved Receiver and OxyCap Finish
The stock is shaped with a Prince of Wales grip and enhanced checkering, giving you a secure hold and a classic profile. Engraving on the receiver adds real visual interest, and the durable high-gloss OxyCap finish shields the walnut from weather without dulling the figure. A recoil pad takes the edge off heavier loads.

Who Should Buy It
This is a strong first over/under for a clays shooter moving up from a pump, a handsome upland gun for pheasant and grouse hunters, and a versatile all-rounder for anyone who wants one shotgun that can break targets on Saturday and hunt on Sunday. The included choke set means you are not buying accessories on day one.
There are honest caveats. Two rounds is two rounds, and reloading a break action is slower than cycling a pump on a fast dove flight. A light 12 gauge with 3-inch magnum loads produces real recoil, so most shooters will stay with 2¾-inch shells for volume shooting. There are no sling swivel studs from the factory, the glossy finish shows fingerprints and handling marks, and the wood-to-metal fit is good for the money rather than custom-grade. Anyone needing high capacity or a defensive configuration should look at a pump or semi-auto instead.
For clays, uplands and general field work, the Akkar 512 High Noon Elite 12 gauge is a lot of shotgun for the outlay. Browse more choices in our firearms collection, or read the maker’s overview at Akkar USA.
