AGM PVS-14 NW2 Monocular Overview
The PVS-14 has been the standard military night vision monocular for decades, and AGM’s version follows that proven layout. It weighs about 12.4 ounces, measures roughly 4.5 by 2.5 by 2.7 inches, conforms to MIL-STD-810G and is waterproof. It runs on a single AA battery, with up to about 40 hours of runtime with the IR illuminator off, and operates from minus 60 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
Image Intensifier Tube
The NW2 version pairs the PVS-14 body with a Gen 2+ Level 2 image intensifier tube and white phosphor. White phosphor shows the night in shades of gray rather than green, which many users find more natural and easier to read for shapes, shadows and terrain. A Gen 2+ tube gives solid performance with some ambient moonlight or starlight, and the built-in IR illuminator helps in very dark places.

Controls and Features
Manual gain control lets you set image brightness for the conditions, while an automatic bright-light cut-off protects the tube from damage. LED indicators inside the field of view warn of low battery, IR on and excessive light. The built-in infrared illuminator provides close-range light that is invisible to the naked eye.
