Compact AR Pistol
An AR pistol packs the AR platform into a compact package that is easy to maneuver in vehicles and tight spaces, making it a popular choice for home defense and range fun.
The 223 Rem Advantage
The 5.56 NATO and 223 Remington are the classic AR cartridges, with mild recoil, flat trajectories and inexpensive ammunition for training, varmints and defense.
Accuracy and Handling
A well built rifle with a quality barrel, a good trigger and a solid optic mount will shoot as well as most shooters can hold. Choose ammunition your rifle likes and zero your scope at the distance you expect to shoot.
Mounting an Optic
Use quality rings or a one piece mount, torque screws to spec, and level the reticle before tightening. A good optic is the biggest single improvement you can make to any hunting rifle.
Care and Maintenance
Clean the bore from the breech end with a rod guide, keep the action and bolt lightly lubricated, and check that action and scope mount screws stay at the correct torque. Wipe metal surfaces with a light oil after handling or wet weather and store the rifle unloaded in a locked safe.
Choosing Ammunition
Try several loads to find what groups best in your barrel. Use quality soft point or bonded bullets for hunting and full metal jacket or match loads for practice. Confirm your zero with the exact load you plan to use in the field.
Recommended Accessories
Plan on a quality optic and mount, a sling, a padded case, eye and ear protection and a cleaning kit. A bipod or shooting sticks help with longer shots.
Why Buy the ACI-15 CQB 556 NATO 8in AR Pistol from MAG5 Firearms
MAG5 Firearms is a family owned FFL dealer in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, and every firearm we sell is handled with the same care we give our own. When you order the ACI-15 CQB 556 NATO 8in AR Pistol from us, it ships directly to the licensed FFL dealer of your choice, where you complete the required background check and paperwork. Our team is happy to answer questions, recommend ammunition and accessories, and help you choose the right optic, holster or case.
Shipping and Transfer
Firearms are shipped only to a federally licensed dealer and must be picked up in person by the buyer, who must meet all federal, state and local requirements, including minimum age rules of 21 for handguns and 18 for rifles and shotguns. Federal transfer rules are published by the ATF, and you can browse our full selection of firearms for sale. Always check your local laws before ordering.
Choosing Ammunition
Every rifle has preferences, so try a few brands and bullet weights to see which groups best in yours. Match the bullet to your purpose, and zero with the exact load you plan to use. Record your point of impact at several distances so you know your holdover.
Optics and Setup
Choose an optic that fits the job, mount it with quality rings or a solid mount torqued to specification, and confirm your zero before relying on the rifle. A sling and a bipod are useful additions for hunting and range work.
Care and Maintenance
Clean the bore after each range session or hunt, wipe metal surfaces with a lightly oiled cloth and check action and mount screws for proper torque. Store the rifle in a dry place and use a padded case for travel.
Shooting Fundamentals
Accuracy comes from consistent fundamentals: a stable position, natural point of aim, controlled breathing and a smooth trigger press. Practice from a bench to confirm your zero, then from field positions such as sitting, kneeling and prone with a sling or bipod.
Recommended Accessories
Plan on a quality optic and rings or mount, a sling, eye and ear protection and a cleaning kit. A bipod or shooting sticks help with long shots, and a padded case protects your investment during travel.
