Each round is CNC machined from solid aluminum billet to full cartridge dimensions and hard anodized red. One piece, no separate case head, no plastic body. Nothing can shear off and leave a case body wedged in a chamber, which is a particularly unwelcome outcome on a rifle with a tight varmint chamber.
The primer end carries a proprietary polymer cushion instead of a live primer, rated by A-Zoom past three thousand strikes. It decelerates the firing pin roughly the way a real primer would rather than letting it stop hard against the bolt face.

Field Notes
Barrel life is the quiet argument. The 22-250 is a hard cartridge on throats, so any practice you can shift from the firing line to the living room is throat life you keep. A-Zoom 22-250 Remington Snap Caps make most of that practice possible.
