Browning Silver Field FDE Auric Overview
The Silver is the value priced gas gun in the Browning line, and it has earned a reputation for running reliably without a lot of fuss. This FDE camo version was a Browning SHOT Show special for 2026, pairing a tough Cerakote finish with a camo composite stock for waterfowl, turkey and upland hunting.
Gas System and Recoil
The Silver uses the Browning Active Valve gas system, which vents excess gas from heavy loads while still cycling lighter shells. The result is softer felt recoil than an inertia gun of the same weight, which you will notice with 3 1/2 inch steel loads.
Flat Dark Earth Cerakote
Cerakote is a ceramic based coating that resists rust, scratches and salt water far better than bluing. Flat Dark Earth blends well in marsh grass and cut fields, and it holds up to the bumps of a long season.
Auric Composite Stock
