Description

Weatherby Sorix MOSG 20ga Overview
The Sorix is the Weatherby semi-auto shotgun built for waterfowl and upland hunters, with a tough synthetic stock and a finish made for wet, muddy days.
Action
The semi-auto action cycles quickly for fast follow up shots on flushing birds or decoying ducks, and the recoil pad helps keep felt recoil manageable.
Barrel and Chokes
The barrel is chambered for 3 inch shells. Pattern each choke with the loads you plan to hunt with before the season.
Stock and Fit
Check the length of pull against your own fit. This version wears the Mossy Oak Shadow Grass finish.
Key Features
Weatherby lists these features for the Sorix Mossy Oak Camo Edition: On Our Mark Podcast; Inertia Reloading System; Shift System for Left-Handed Shooters; Competition Cut Receiver; Oversized Controls; Adjustable Stock Shims; Unmatched Finish; Optics-Ready Design.
The 20 gauge
The 20 gauge is lighter to carry and kicks less than a 12, and with modern loads it handles upland birds, doves and even ducks.
Waterfowl and Upland
This shotgun suits waterfowl from a blind or boat, and works for upland birds too. Federal law requires nontoxic shot for waterfowl.
Buying Tips
Pattern your gun with each choke and load before the season, and check that the length of pull fits you, especially if you wear heavy coats.
Care and Value
Wipe the gun down after wet hunts and clean the barrel and chokes regularly. Weatherby shotguns hold their value well when kept clean.
State Laws
Shotguns are legal in every state, though hunting rules and magazine limits vary. Pennsylvania buyers can transfer at our Collegeville shop or at any FFL.
