Description
The Rost Martin RM1C 9mm 10 Round FDE CA is a pistol chambered in 9mm with a 4-inch barrel and a 10+1 capacity. Rost Martin lists this model as the RM1C California Compliant.
Rost Martin RM1C 9mm 10 Round FDE CA Overview
Rost Martin builds feature-rich, optics-ready, striker-fired 9mm pistols at a fair price. The RM1 family shares a crowned match-grade barrel, a flat-face trigger with a very short reset, ambidextrous controls, modular backstraps, a funneled magazine well, aggressive grip texture, and textured index points on the frame that help you control recoil. The RM1C is the compact model in the line, with a 4-inch barrel and a grip that holds a double-stack magazine while staying easy to carry.
Design and Features
This configuration is finished in fde and ships with magazines holding up to 10 rounds. It is configured for California compliance. The slide is cut for optics, and anti-glare serrations on top help keep the sight picture clear.
Handling and Carry
The grip texture locks the pistol in your hand without being abrasive, and the undercut trigger guard and extended beavertail let you get a high grip for better recoil control. It carries comfortably in a quality holster.
Trigger and Controls
The flat-face trigger has a clean break and an extra-short reset, which helps with fast, accurate follow-up shots. Ambidextrous controls suit both right- and left-handed shooters.
Sights and Optics
The factory sights give a clear, quick sight picture, and the optic-ready slide lets you add a red dot whenever you are ready.
The 9mm Cartridge
The 9mm Luger is the most popular handgun cartridge in the world. It offers manageable recoil, good capacity, and a huge selection of affordable practice and defensive ammunition.
Setup and Accessories
A good holster is the most important accessory for any carry pistol. Choose one that covers the trigger guard completely and holds the gun securely, then add a sturdy gun belt, spare magazines, and a weapon light if the frame has a rail. Practice drawing and reloading with an unloaded gun until it feels natural.
Ownership Tips
Read the owner manual fully before your first range trip, and keep the manual, box, and receipt with your records for warranty service and resale. Unload the pistol and confirm it is empty before cleaning. Field-strip it according to the owner manual, scrub the bore with a brush and patches, and wipe carbon from the breech face and slide rails. Apply a light coat of quality gun oil to the contact points, and wipe the exterior with a lightly oiled cloth before storage.
State Laws
Magazine capacity limits, feature restrictions, and transfer rules vary by state and locality. Check your local laws before ordering, and ask your receiving dealer if you are unsure whether this configuration is legal where you live.
Ordering and Transfer
When you order a firearm from MAG5 Firearms, we ship it to the licensed dealer you choose. Your dealer completes the ATF Form 4473 and the background check, and may charge a transfer fee. Local buyers can complete the transfer at our shop. Bring a valid ID, and check your state waiting period before you plan a hunt or a range trip.
Safe Storage
Store the firearm unloaded in a locked safe or case, with ammunition kept separately. A cable lock or trigger lock is a good backup, especially in a home with children or visitors. Keep the original box and paperwork, and record the serial number in a safe place in case the gun is ever lost or stolen.
