The T10 Key Is Not An Afterthought

Trijicon includes a torque L-key rather than expecting you to find a T10 bit, and that matters more than it sounds. A retainer is a small fastener clamping a polymer rod. Over tighten it and you crush or craze the fiber. Under tighten it and the fiber walks out under recoil.

Use the key that comes in the Trijicon DI Night Sight Retainer White pack, seat the fastener firmly and stop. If you have stripped a retainer before, that is almost always what happened, and it is the reason the key is in the box at all.
