The BSA Optics Huntsman 30mm RGB Dot Sight gives you three dot colors in one light, low cost sight. Switch between red, green and blue to match the light and the background, then shoot with both eyes open thanks to unlimited eye relief.

BSA Optics Huntsman 30mm RGB Dot Sight Overview
BSA calls the Huntsman part of its multi-purpose sighting systems, made for close quarter and medium range targets. It is a 1x sight with a 30mm objective lens, a 5 MOA dot, and windage and elevation turrets in 1/2 MOA clicks. The sight is about 3.77 inches long and weighs about 5 ounces in a matte black finish. Field of view is listed at 68 feet at 100 yards, and the sight is set parallax free at 50 yards, a good match for rimfire, shotgun and short range centerfire work.
Red, Green and Blue Dot
RGB technology lets you pick the color that stands out best. Red is easy to see indoors and in low light, green pops against bright sky and snow, and blue can help against green brush and fall leaves. An 11 position rheostat sets the brightness for each color.
Fits Two Rail Types
The mount works on both 3/8 inch dovetail rails, common on rimfire rifles and air rifles, and 5/8 inch Weaver style rails found on many centerfire rifles and shotguns. That makes the Huntsman an easy sight to move from one gun to another.
Light and Tough
BSA says the Huntsman is light enough for small caliber plinking yet durable enough for larger calibers used by hunters and law enforcement. At about 5 ounces it will not upset the balance of a light rifle or turkey gun.
Warranty
BSA backs the Huntsman with a one year limited warranty. Keep your receipt from MAG5 Firearms in case you ever need service.
Good Uses
Put it on a 22 LR plinker, a slug gun for deer in thick woods, a turkey shotgun, or a pistol caliber carbine. The 5 MOA dot is quick to find on close targets and the color choice helps when the light changes during a hunt.
Zeroing Tips
Most rifle and shotgun shooters zero a red dot at 50 or 100 yards, depending on the gun and how it will be used. Start at about 25 yards to get on paper, then move back and fine tune. Fire small groups before each change, and confirm zero with the ammunition you plan to use.
Battery Care
Replace the battery once a year on a defensive gun, even if the dot still looks fine, and keep a spare in your range bag. Wipe the lens with a soft cloth or lens pen, not a shirt tail, to keep the coatings clean. If the dot seems dim or flickers, check the battery and contacts first.
Ordering and Transfer
When you order a firearm from MAG5 Firearms, we ship it to the licensed dealer you choose. Your dealer completes the ATF Form 4473 and the background check, and may charge a transfer fee. Local buyers can complete the transfer at our shop. Bring a valid ID, and check your state waiting period before you plan a hunt or a range trip.
