Description
The Blazer Brass 30 Super Carry 115gr FMJ is affordable practice ammunition for the 30 Super Carry cartridge. CCI loads a 115 grain full metal jacket flat nose bullet at a rated 1,150 fps with 338 ft-lbs, in boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases. Each box holds 50 rounds.
Why Choose the Blazer Brass 30 Super Carry 115gr FMJ
The 30 Super Carry was introduced to give compact carry pistols more capacity than 9mm in the same size frame while delivering similar performance. Consistent, affordable 30 Super Carry practice ammo is essential for building skill with a new cartridge.
Blazer Brass is known for reliable primers, clean-burning propellants and reloadable brass cases, and CCI brings those features to the 30 SC so shooters can train without paying defensive-ammo prices.
The flat nose FMJ design is intended for dependable feeding and clean holes in paper targets.
Training With the Blazer Brass 30 Super Carry 115gr FMJ
Compact carry pistol training benefits from high repetition. Practice drawing from concealment, shooting at close range under time pressure and performing reloads. A few boxes of practice ammunition per month builds real confidence with a small pistol.
Full metal jacket bullets are for practice, not defense. For carry, choose a quality 30 Super Carry hollow point and confirm it runs in your pistol before carrying it.
Because 30 SC is newer than 9mm, it can be harder to find, so buying practice ammunition when it is available helps maintain a steady supply. Store boxes in a cool, dry place.
Small, light pistols reward disciplined fundamentals. Focus on a firm, high grip and a smooth, straight-back trigger press, and watch the front sight lift and return with each shot. Recording short videos of your draw can reveal wasted movement that is hard to feel in the moment.
If you are new to the cartridge, spend a session comparing it side by side with 9mm in a similar pistol. Many shooters notice slightly softer recoil with 30 Super Carry, along with the capacity advantage in the same size frame.
