Glock 45 V 9mm Viridian RFX35 Black Pistol – Proven 9mm Handgun

Description

The Glock 45 V 9mm Viridian RFX35 Black is a crossover 9mm Luger pistol with a 3.7-inch barrel, 17-round magazines (3 included), and a black Cerakote finish. It brings a mounted optic and a custom look to one of the most trusted handguns in the world.

Glock 45 V 9mm Viridian RFX35 Black Overview

The Glock 45 pairs a compact-length slide with the full-size 17-round grip, giving you the fast handling of a shorter slide with a full grip for better control. The V-series version retains Gen5 features such as the ambidextrous slide stop, the flared magwell, and the grip without finger grooves, and adds an internal redesign that Glock made for improved safety and performance. The front slide serrations and full grip make it a natural choice for duty, home defense, and open carry.

Custom Features

This version is a custom package built on the Glock 45 V. It adds an optic-ready slide with RMR cut, a Viridian RFX35 green dot, and a black Cerakote finish. It ships with a Viridian RFX35 green dot already mounted, so it is ready to run with a red dot out of the box.

Carry and Use

The 45 is a favorite for home defense and open carry. The shorter slide clears a holster quickly, while the full-size grip gives you a solid hold and room for 17 rounds.

Safe Action Design

Like every Glock, it uses the Safe Action system with three independent safeties: a trigger safety, a firing pin safety, and a drop safety. There is no manual safety to forget under stress; the pistol fires only when the trigger is pressed. The striker-fired trigger breaks the same way every time, which makes it easy to learn and easy to shoot consistently. Polymer construction keeps weight down, and the slide and barrel are built to hold up to tens of thousands of rounds.

Barrel and Slide

The 3.7-inch barrel gives the pistol a good balance of velocity, sight radius, and carry comfort. Glock barrels are hammer-forged and finished for long service life.

Sights and Optics

The included Viridian RFX35 green dot sits low on the slide in the optic cut. A red dot lets you keep both eyes open and focus on the target, which is faster and more intuitive than lining up iron sights, especially under stress or in low light.

Finish

The a black Cerakote finish sets this pistol apart from a standard black Glock. Cerakote is a ceramic-based coating that resists wear, corrosion, and chemicals far better than ordinary paint, so the finish holds up to holster wear and regular cleaning.

In the Field

The Glock 45 V 9mm Viridian RFX35 Black is a strong choice for shooters who want full-size grip and capacity with a quicker-handling slide. With 17 rounds on board you have plenty of capacity for defensive use or a long day at the range. It accepts a wide range of holsters, lights, and accessories made for its frame.

Care and Cleaning

Cleaning is easy on a Glock. Field-strip the pistol by unloading it, pulling the slide back slightly, and pulling down the slide lock. Clean the barrel with a bore brush and patches, wipe the slide rails, and put a drop of oil on the barrel hood, the slide rails, and the connector. Wipe the optic lens with a soft cloth and keep the mounting screws snug. Avoid harsh solvents on the Cerakote; a light wipe with gun oil is all it needs.
