Description
The Glock 17 V 9mm Ported RMR Cut Black is a full-size 9mm Luger pistol with a 4.5-inch ported barrel, 17-round magazines (3 included), and a black Cerakote finish. It brings a custom look to one of the most trusted handguns in the world.
Glock 17 V 9mm Ported RMR Cut Black Overview
The Glock 17 is the full-size 9mm that put Glock on the map, and it remains a standard sidearm for police and militaries around the world. The V-series version keeps the 17-round capacity, the long sight radius, and the soft-shooting full-size frame, along with Gen5 features like the ambidextrous slide stop, the flared magwell, and a grip without finger grooves. An internal redesign brings the updates Glock made for improved safety and performance.
Custom Features
This version is a custom package built on the Glock 17 V. It adds an optic-ready slide with RMR cut, a ported slide and barrel, and a black Cerakote finish. The slide is cut for RMR-footprint optics, so you can add a red dot whenever you are ready.
Carry and Use
The 17 is at its best on a nightstand, in a duty holster, or at the range. The long slide and full grip soak up recoil, and the 17-round magazines mean fewer reloads during practice and more rounds on hand when it matters.
Safe Action Design
Like every Glock, it uses the Safe Action system with three independent safeties: a trigger safety, a firing pin safety, and a drop safety. There is no manual safety to forget under stress; the pistol fires only when the trigger is pressed. The striker-fired trigger breaks the same way every time, which makes it easy to learn and easy to shoot consistently. Polymer construction keeps weight down, and the slide and barrel are built to hold up to tens of thousands of rounds.
Barrel and Slide
The 4.5-inch barrel is ported, with matching cuts in the slide. Porting vents gas upward as the bullet leaves the muzzle, which pushes the muzzle down and reduces muzzle rise so you can get back on target faster for follow-up shots.
Sights and Optics
The slide is cut for a red dot optic, so you can add one whenever you are ready. Until then, the factory sights give you a familiar, fast sight picture.
Finish
The a black Cerakote finish sets this pistol apart from a standard black Glock. Cerakote is a ceramic-based coating that resists wear, corrosion, and chemicals far better than ordinary paint, so the finish holds up to holster wear and regular cleaning.
In the Field
The Glock 17 V 9mm Ported RMR Cut Black is a strong choice for home defenders, duty-minded shooters, and range shooters who want a full-size 9mm that shoots soft and runs every time. With 17 rounds on board you have plenty of capacity for defensive use or a long day at the range. It accepts a wide range of holsters, lights, and accessories made for its frame.

Care and Cleaning
Cleaning is easy on a Glock. Field-strip the pistol by unloading it, pulling the slide back slightly, and pulling down the slide lock. Clean the barrel with a bore brush and patches, wipe the slide rails, and put a drop of oil on the barrel hood, the slide rails, and the connector. Avoid harsh solvents on the Cerakote; a light wipe with gun oil is all it needs.
