Description
CCI Blazer Suppressor 45 ACP 230gr TMJ ammunition combines CCI’s reliable priming with reloadable brass cases and clean-burning propellants. Each cartridge carries a 230 grain Total Metal Jacket bullet at a rated 800 feet per second. The .45 ACP is naturally subsonic, which makes it one of the best cartridges to shoot suppressed, and this Clean-Fire Suppressor load adds a lead-free primer and a fully jacketed bullet to keep your pistol and can cleaner.

Most full-size .45 ACP pistols run this load without any changes, and it pairs well with a booster-equipped suppressor thanks to its standard pressure and full bullet weight. As with any suppressed setup, test a few magazines first to confirm your pistol cycles reliably with the can attached. Many shooters find that 45 acp suppressor ammo is also pleasant to shoot unsuppressed, with a slow, manageable push instead of a sharp snap.
Keep a few boxes set aside for suppressed work and label your magazines so subsonic rounds stay together. The brass cases are reloadable, so handloaders can collect their empties for future builds. Store the ammunition in a cool, dry place to keep performance consistent from box to box.

Why Subsonic 45 ACP Ammo Is a Suppressor Favorite
Big, slow bullets are ideal for suppressors. At 800 fps the 230 grain bullet stays well below the speed of sound, so there is no supersonic crack to undo the work of the can. With a good suppressor, this subsonic 45 acp ammo produces a deep, muted report that is comfortable to shoot for hours.
Suppressors trap carbon, lead and powder residue with every shot. The Total Metal Jacket bullet encloses the lead core, and the lead-free primer keeps heavy metals out of the blast, so your suppressor and barrel need less cleaning between trips.
The full-weight 230 grain bullet also mirrors the classic .45 ACP defensive load in recoil and point of impact, so practice feels familiar and still meets the power factor used in many competition divisions.
CCI has built ammunition and primers in Lewiston, Idaho since the 1950s, and Blazer Brass is one of the most popular range loads in the country. The reloadable brass cases are a bonus for handloaders, who can collect and reuse their brass after each range trip.
Suppressor owners, 1911 and full-size 45 pistol shooters, and pistol-caliber carbine fans will get quiet, clean and dependable performance from this 50-round box. Always confirm your firearm is chambered for .45 ACP, wear eye and ear protection, and follow all federal, state and local laws.
Shooters choose blazer brass ammo because it balances cost and quality. You get the same reliable CCI primers and consistent powder charges found in more expensive loads, with brass cases you can reload, at a price that makes regular practice realistic. For many shooters it is the default box they reach for whenever they head to the range.
Store this ammunition in a cool, dry place in its original packaging so the lot number stays with it. If you shoot often, buying several boxes of the same lot keeps your point of impact consistent from session to session.
