Description
The Trijicon HD Night Sights Beretta PX4 set replaces the factory sights on your Beretta PX4 with a fast daytime front post and a tritium sight picture that glows in the dark. The front sight carries a green tritium lamp inside a bright yellow outline, while the rear carries a green tritium lamp inside a black outline. Your eye goes to the front sight first, which is exactly what you want when you are shooting quickly.
Trijicon HD Night Sights Beretta PX4 Overview
Trijicon calls this set model BE110Y, part number 600625. It belongs to the HD (High Definition) line, which Trijicon built for shooters who want a bold front sight in daylight and a clear three-dot style aiming reference at night. The front outline is a photoluminescent ring that charges in light and adds contrast against dark targets, and the tritium lamps glow on their own without batteries or charging. In bright light, the yellow front post stands out against the dark rear, so your eye picks up the front sight fast.
In low light, the tritium lamps line up into a clean horizontal row for fast alignment.
How the Sight Picture Works
The rear sight uses a wide U-notch with a black outline around its two tritium lamps. That keeps the rear quiet in your peripheral vision and lets the yellow front post do the talking. The notch is about 0.169 in wide and the front blade is about 0.144 in wide, so there is a little light on each side of the front post for fast, accurate alignment. Shooters coming from the factory PX4 sights usually notice the faster pickup right away, especially during drills from the holster or when transitioning between targets.
Fit and Dimensions
This set is listed for Beretta PX4 pistols. Front sight height is about 0.294 in with a blade height near 0.215 in. Rear sight height is about 0.355 in with a blade height near 0.23 in. Retailers do not all list which PX4 sizes the set fits, so check your slide and the Trijicon fit chart before ordering if you run a compact or subcompact model. The heights are matched to put your point of impact close to point of aim at typical defensive distances.
Why Tritium
Tritium is a radioactive isotope of hydrogen sealed inside small glass vials. It gives off a steady glow for years with no batteries, no charging, and no switches. That makes tritium night sights a common choice on carry and home defense pistols, where the gun may sit unused for months but still has to work instantly in the dark. Trijicon has been building tritium sights for decades and is one of the best known names in the field.
Installation
Most shooters have these sights installed by a qualified gunsmith who has the right sight pusher and fixtures for the PX4 slide. Dovetail sights need to be centered and secured properly, and a bad install can damage the finish or leave the sight loose. Once installed, confirm your zero at the range before carrying the pistol.
Spec Note
The store feed title lists this item as BE11OY with the letter O. Trijicon and other retailers list the model as BE110Y with a zero. The UPC 719307210929 and part number 600625 match the Trijicon HD set for the Beretta PX4 with a yellow front outline. Some product photos show the set off the gun, and Trijicon uses similar photos across its HD line.
