Affordable Volume for Clay Shooters
Top Gun has earned a reputation as a dependable, budget friendly target load. Federal builds it with hard lead shot for even patterns, a unique wad column for consistency, a reliable Federal primer and an eight segment crimp. That combination produces solid breaks on trap, skeet and sporting clays without the price of premium competition shells.
The 1 1/8 ounce payload of #7.5 shot is a versatile choice. It has enough pellet energy for longer sporting clays presentations and handicap trap, while still giving a dense pattern for closer targets.
Buying in a 200 round case lowers your cost per shell and means fewer trips to restock during league season. Two 100 round packs are easy to carry and store, and they split nicely between shooting partners.

Field Notes and Practice Tips
Use Federal Top Gun 12ga Value Case shells for trap, skeet, sporting clays, five stand and backyard clay practice. They also work well for dove and other small birds where lead shot is permitted.
Pattern your gun once with this load and your favorite chokes. Knowing where your pattern centers helps you set your gun up correctly and gives you confidence on every target.
Clean your shotgun after high volume sessions, focusing on the chamber, gas system and choke threads. Target loads leave wad residue that can build up over hundreds of rounds.
Store cases off the floor in a cool, dry place. Keep boxes sealed until use to protect hulls and primers from moisture.
If you shoot clays often and want a dependable target load at a value price, this Federal Top Gun 12ga Value Case is a proven way to stock up. Add a quality shell pouch for the field and keep a case on hand for league nights.
Clubs, instructors and families who shoot together often go through shells quickly. A Federal Top Gun 12ga Value Case keeps everyone on the same consistent load, which helps coaches diagnose misses and lets newer shooters learn with ammunition that patterns predictably. Splitting a case between friends is also a simple way to save on league season costs.
If you are new to clays, start with a few rounds of skeet or five stand to learn gun mount and follow through, then move on to trap and sporting clays as your skills grow.
Wear eye and ear protection on every round, and take a short break between rounds to let your gun cool and your focus reset.
