ATI Alpha Maxx AR Pistol 60 Round 5.56 – Powerful 7.5″ High-Capacity AR Pistol

Description

The ATI Alpha Maxx AR Pistol 60 Round is American Tactical’s compact Alpha Maxx in 5.56 NATO, packaged with a 60-round magazine for extended range sessions. It pairs a 7.5-inch barrel with a lightweight reinforced polymer receiver set, a 7-inch M-LOK handguard and flip-up sights, so it is ready to shoot out of the box. This listing is ATI model ATIGAX556QD760, UPC 810113115566.

ATI Alpha Maxx AR Pistol 60 Round Overview

The Alpha Maxx line is ATI’s budget-friendly take on the AR platform. Its metal-reinforced polymer upper and lower keep weight down, while familiar AR controls, including a forward assist and A2-style pistol grip, make it easy to run for anyone who has handled an AR-15. This 5.56 AR pistol keeps the overall length short for vehicles, home defense and compact storage.

The Included Drum-Style Magazine

The headline feature of this package is the 60 round magazine. Extended capacity means fewer reloads during plinking and training drills. Keep in mind that high-capacity magazines add weight and height, making the pistol less handy when loaded, and they are prohibited in a number of states. ATI notes the Alpha Maxx cannot be sold in several states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, D.C., Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Vermont, Washington and Virginia; always confirm current law for your location.

Compact Features

A 7.5 inch AR pistol is about as compact as the AR-15 gets. The short barrel produces more muzzle blast and flash than a 16-inch rifle, so ear protection is essential. The 7-inch M-LOK handguard provides slots for a light and hand stop, and the full-length Picatinny top rail accepts red dots or magnified optics. Flip-up sights give you a backup aiming solution, and the arm brace adds stability when shooting one-handed or braced against the forearm.

Before You Buy the ATI Alpha Maxx AR Pistol 60 Round

Federal and state rules on pistol braces have changed in recent years, and some states restrict AR pistols, magazine capacity or both, so check your local law before ordering. The polymer receiver set keeps cost and weight low but is not as rigid as forged aluminum. A 5.56 out of a 7.5-inch barrel loses velocity compared with a rifle-length barrel, so choose ammunition designed for short barrels if you plan to use it for defense.

Setting Up the ATI Alpha Maxx AR Pistol 60 Round

Start with a compact red dot on the top rail and a weapon light on the M-LOK handguard. A single-point or two-point sling helps control the pistol, and a few standard 30-round magazines are handy for carry, with the ATI Alpha Maxx AR Pistol 60 Round drum-style 60-rounder saved for range days.

Who It Is For

The ATI Alpha Maxx AR Pistol 60 Round is a fun, affordable AR pistol for range days, a compact truck or home gun, and an entry point for new AR owners. If you want more barrel length or a different chambering, ATI also offers the Alpha Maxx in 10.5-inch 5.56 and 300 Blackout configurations.
