Description
The Trijicon MRO SD Red Dot Coyote No Mount is the 2 MOA red dot MRO SD finished in Coyote Brown, sold as the sight alone so you can match it to the mount height and color you want. It is an easy way to complete a tan or coyote AR build with a duty-grade optic.

Trijicon MRO SD Red Dot Coyote No Mount Overview
Trijicon part MRO-C-2200325 is part of the MRO SD line, the updated Miniature Rifle Optic that keeps the original MRO’s footprint and toughness while improving optical clarity and zero retention. The 25mm objective and short tube give the MRO one of the widest fields of view of any micro red dot, which makes it easy to find the dot with both eyes open.
The Reticle
The reticle is a clean 2.0 MOA dot, covering about two inches at 100 yards. It is precise enough for accurate shots well past 100 yards on a 5.56 carbine and simple enough that it never clutters your view.

Red or Green
The red LED is the classic choice: efficient, familiar and easy to see against green foliage and indoor backgrounds. Trijicon rates the red MRO SD at about 2.5 years of continuous use at setting 5 of 8.
Mounting
No mount is included. The MRO uses its own mounting pattern, and a wide range of mounts are made for it, including Trijicon levered quick-release mounts and premium options from companies like Geissele. That lets you choose the exact height and cantilever for your rifle.

Magnifier and Night Vision
The MRO SD was re-engineered with a new objective lens and coatings to look sharper behind a magnifier and night vision devices, so you can add Trijicon’s 3x magnifier later without a compromise in dot quality.
Built Like a Trijicon
The MRO SD uses a forged 7075 aluminum housing, sealed and filled with dry nitrogen, and is rated submersible to 100 feet. Capless, sub-flush adjusters move the dot 1/2 MOA per click and cannot be bumped or lose caps. Eight brightness settings include 4 for night vision devices, the top setting is super bright for sunny days. The housing is anodized in Coyote Brown to match tan and coyote rifles. Coyote mounts are less common than black, so you may end up with a black mount unless you shop specifically for a matching finish.
Ordering and Transfer
When you order a firearm from MAG5 Firearms, we ship it to the licensed dealer you choose. Your dealer completes the ATF Form 4473 and the background check, and may charge a transfer fee. Local buyers can complete the transfer at our shop. Bring a valid ID, and check your state waiting period before you plan a hunt or a range trip.
Safe Storage
Store the firearm unloaded in a locked safe or case, with ammunition kept separately. A cable lock or trigger lock is a good backup, especially in a home with children or visitors. Keep the original box and paperwork, and record the serial number in a safe place in case the gun is ever lost or stolen.
Your First Range Trip
Mount your optic, bore sight it, then fire your first groups at 25 yards before moving to 100. Let the barrel cool between strings, and record your zero and the load you used. Wear eye and ear protection, keep the muzzle in a safe direction, and clean the bore when you get home.
