Hornady 10mm 150gr FTX LEVERevolution – Proven 10mm Auto Lever Action Hunting Ammo, 1220 fps, 20 Rounds

Description

The Hornady 10mm 150gr FTX LEVERevolution load is built for shooters who want more from their 10mm Auto than typical factory ammunition delivers. Hornady loads a 150 grain FTX Flex Tip to a rated 1220 feet per second, producing about 496 foot-pounds of energy. LEVERevolution ammunition uses a soft, flexible Flex Tip that is safe in tubular magazines, allowing a pointed, high ballistic coefficient bullet in lever-action rifles. The result is a flatter trajectory and more energy downrange than traditional flat-nose loads.

Why Choose the Hornady 10mm 150gr FTX LEVERevolution

• Rated 1220 fps and 496 ft-lbs
• Brass cases with reliable primers

Built for the Hunt

• Accurate, consistent hunting performance
• Reliable feeding in bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles
• Quality brass cases and reliable primers
• Suited to a wide range of game at typical distances

Buying ammunition by the box from the same production lot keeps velocity and point of impact consistent from one range trip to the next. Keep a record of the load you carry, check your ammunition for dents or loose bullets from time to time, and rotate your carry rounds so the ones in your firearm stay fresh. These simple habits help you get the full performance Hornady builds into every cartridge.

Before you trust any new load, fire enough rounds through your firearm to confirm it feeds, fires and ejects reliably and that the point of impact matches your sights. Full-power loads produce more recoil and muzzle blast than typical range ammo, so practice with the Hornady 10mm 150gr FTX LEVERevolution until you are comfortable with it, and store the rest in a cool, dry place in the original box.

The 10mm Auto was developed in the 1980s and briefly adopted by the FBI before the shorter .40 S&W took its place, but it has since become a favorite of hunters and backcountry hikers. Its extra case capacity lets it drive bullets faster than most other semi-automatic pistol rounds, and regular practice with a full-power load is the best way to master its recoil.
