Superformance ammunition uses specially blended propellants to reach velocities up to 200 fps faster than standard loads without extra pressure or recoil. Paired with the monolithic CX bullet, it offers a flat trajectory, deep penetration and high weight retention.

- Suited to a wide range of game at typical distances
Buying ammunition by the box from the same production lot keeps velocity and point of impact consistent from one range trip to the next. Keep a record of the load you carry, check your ammunition for dents or loose bullets from time to time, and rotate your carry rounds so the ones in your firearm stay fresh. These simple habits help you get the full performance Hornady builds into every cartridge.
Before you trust any new load, fire enough rounds through your firearm to confirm it feeds, fires and ejects reliably and that the point of impact matches your sights. Full-power loads produce more recoil and muzzle blast than typical range ammo, so practice with the Hornady 22 ARC 70gr CX Superformance until you are comfortable with it, and store the rest in a cool, dry place in the original box.
