Description
The Sig Sauer P226X Legion Carry SAO 18 is the standard-capacity version of the carry-frame Legion, holding eighteen rounds behind a 3.8-inch bull barrel. MAG5 Firearms stocks it with a single-action-only trigger, a SIG-LOC optic cut and Legion Gray Cerakote over an aluminum frame.
Eighteen Rounds on a Carry Frame
A shortened grip usually means giving up capacity. It does not here. The Sig Sauer P226X Legion Carry SAO 18 fits eighteen rounds into a frame short enough to conceal under a cover garment, which is unusual for an all-metal pistol.
Combined with the bull barrel keeping weight forward, the result is a carry gun that shoots like something considerably larger.
Single Action and Why It Matters
A standard P226 breaks long and heavy on the first shot and short and clean on every one after. That transition is the hardest thing about running a hammer-fired pistol well.
The Sig Sauer P226X Legion Carry SAO 18 deletes it. Carry cocked and locked with the thumb safety engaged, and every press feels the same from the first round to the last.

The Legion Production Standard
Legion is a separate production line rather than a color option. The guns receive upgraded internals, closer assembly tolerances and finish work that ordinary production pistols do not get, and it shows in how the slide cycles and where the trigger breaks.
Legion Gray Cerakote covers the stainless slide and the aluminum frame. It is harder than anodizing, more corrosion resistant than bluing, and it hides the holster wear that shows immediately on a black gun.
SIG-LOC Optic Mounting on the Sig Sauer P226X Legion Carry SAO 18
The slide arrives cut for the SIG-LOC footprint, which mounts a compatible red dot directly to the slide with no adapter plate. Removing the plate removes the most common failure point in a pistol optic setup.
A lower mounting height also means suppressor-height irons co-witness through the window rather than sitting below it.

Ownership Tips
Before your first range trip, read the owner’s manual and practice loading, unloading, and field-stripping with an empty gun. Clean and lightly lubricate the pistol after each session, paying attention to the slide rails, barrel hood, and breech face, and use quality gun oil sparingly. Inspect magazines for dirt and weak springs, and replace springs on a regular schedule if you carry the gun daily.
For carry or home defense, test the ammunition you plan to rely on with at least a few boxes to confirm reliable feeding. A quality holster that covers the trigger guard, a sturdy belt, and a weapon light round out a dependable setup. Check your state and local rules on magazine capacity and transport before ordering, and we will ship to the licensed dealer of your choice.
