Winchester SXP WF Hntr Camo 391 26 8441 Overview
The SXP is the Winchester pump shotgun, known for its fast inertia assisted slide action, which uses recoil to help start the forearm rearward. This version is the SXP Waterfowl Hunter Camo.
Barrel and Chokes
The 26 inch barrel has a rtl finish and a truglo fiber optic front sight. It uses the Invector-Plus Flush system and ships with full, modified, improved cylinder choke tubes. The 3 inch chamber handles standard and 3 inch loads.
Action
The inertia assisted slide action uses recoil energy to help unlock the bolt and start the forearm back, so follow up shots come fast. The crossbolt safety and slide release are easy to reach. The magazine holds 4, 2 3/4 shells.
Stock and Fit
The composite stock has a rtl finish and textured grip panels grip panels. Winchester lists a 13 3/4 inch length of pull and a Inflex 1 recoil pad.
Key Features
Winchester builds the SXP Waterfowl Hunter Camo for years of hard use.
The 12 gauge
The 12 gauge handles everything from light target loads to heavy waterfowl, turkey and defense loads.
Upland Birds and Waterfowl
This shotgun is at home on upland birds, doves and waterfowl, and it is fine for a round of clays. Check federal and state rules on shot type and magazine capacity for waterfowl.
Buying Tips
Pattern your gun with each choke and load before the season, and pick up extra choke tubes if you hunt different birds.
Care and Value
Wipe the gun down after wet hunts and clean the barrel and chokes regularly. Winchester shotguns hold their value well.
State Laws
Shotguns are legal in every state, though hunting rules and magazine limits vary. Pennsylvania buyers can transfer at our Collegeville shop or at any FFL.
Ordering and Transfer
When you order a firearm from MAG5 Firearms, we ship it to the licensed dealer you choose. Your dealer completes the ATF Form 4473 and the background check, and may charge a transfer fee. Local buyers can complete the transfer at our shop. Bring a valid ID, and check your state waiting period before you plan a hunt or a range trip.
Safe Storage
Store the firearm unloaded in a locked safe or case, with ammunition kept separately. A cable lock or trigger lock is a good backup, especially in a home with children or visitors. Keep the original box and paperwork, and record the serial number in a safe place in case the gun is ever lost or stolen.
