Description
The Sig Sauer CROSS PRS is a purpose-built long-range competition rifle that arrives match-ready rather than as a project. A 24-inch heavy stainless 5R barrel, a steel folding precision adjustable stock and a removable ARCA rail cover the entire PRS checklist out of the box.
An All-Steel Chassis Built for Balance
Where most precision rifles bolt a barreled action into an aluminum chassis, the CROSS PRS uses an all-steel structural frame. The extra mass is deliberate: at 13.5 pounds the rifle sits still on a bag and tracks through recoil instead of hopping. That balance is the difference between calling your own shots and losing the target in the scope, which is exactly what the Sig Sauer CROSS PRS is designed around.
24-Inch Heavy 5R Barrel
The barrel is heavy-profile stainless steel with 5R rifling and a 1:10 twist, threaded 5/8×24 behind a 90-degree shoulder. A thread protector ships fitted, so a brake or suppressor mounts without any gunsmithing. Five-groove 5R rifling reduces bullet deformation and fouls more slowly than conventional lands, which shows up as consistency deep into a match string.
Folding Precision Adjustable Stock
The steel stock folds for transport and adjusts for both length of pull and cheek comb height, so the rifle fits you rather than the other way around. Overall length runs 44.4 inches extended and drops to 33.6 inches folded. Being able to fold a 24-inch rifle into something that fits a standard case is a real advantage when travelling to matches.
Two-Piece M-LOK Forend with ARCA
The 18-inch free-floating alloy forend carries M-LOK slots and a removable steel ARCA rail, so tripods, bipods and bag riders attach directly with no adapter. ARCA compatibility has become effectively mandatory in PRS, and having it factory-fitted saves both money and weight.
Two-Stage Match Trigger
The trigger is a two-stage adjustable match unit set between 2.5 and 4 pounds with a curved shoe. It is the kind of trigger shooters normally pay to add. Behind it sits a weighted AR-compatible PRS grip with an ambidextrous thumb rest, which supports the hand in awkward barricade positions.
AICS Magazines and 308 Ballistics
Feeding is from standard AICS pattern magazines, with one ten-round polymer magazine included. AICS is the universal standard in precision bolt guns, so spares are cheap and everywhere. In 308 Winchester the Sig Sauer CROSS PRS gives you affordable match ammunition, low barrel wear and enough performance for the ranges most PRS stages are shot at.

Who Should Buy It
This is a competition rifle for someone shooting PRS, NRL or club precision matches who wants to stop buying upgrades. Everything the discipline demands is already fitted, and the folding stock makes it practical to travel with.
The Sig Sauer CROSS PRS weighs 13.5 pounds before an optic, so it is a poor choice for carrying into the field. It is also expensive, and 308 gives up wind performance to 6.5 Creedmoor and 6mm cartridges at longer distances.
Hunters who need a rifle they can walk with should look at a lightweight bolt action, and shooters chasing the flattest trajectory should compare a 6.5 Creedmoor in our catalog. Every firearm we list ships to your chosen FFL and is transferred in accordance with federal and state law.
