Description
The Combat Armory CA19 Polymer Sights model is a striker fired 9mm built on the Glock 19 pattern, with a 4.02 inch stainless barrel, a 15 round magazine and fixed black polymer sights. Everything on it interchanges with Gen 3 Glock 19 parts, which is the whole point of the gun.
Built Around Gen 3 Compatibility
Combat Armory did not try to reinvent the compact striker fired pistol. They built one that accepts the enormous Gen 3 aftermarket, so triggers, barrels, sights, slides, magazines and holsters you already own or can buy cheaply all drop straight on.
That matters more than it sounds. A shooter who wants to try a flat trigger, a threaded barrel or an optic cut slide can do it here for the price of the part rather than the price of a new pistol, and the parts are available from dozens of makers rather than one.
Combat Armory CA19 Polymer Sights Slide and Barrel
The slide is steel with a matte black QPQ finish and front and rear serrations. QPQ is a nitride process rather than a coating, so it hardens the surface as well as protecting it, and it holds up to holster wear far better than bluing.
Barrel length is 4.02 inches of stainless steel with conventional rifling at a 1:10 twist. Conventional rifling matters if you shoot cast lead, which polygonal barrels do not handle as well. The muzzle on this variant is not threaded, so the pistol stays holster friendly out of the box.
Frame and Controls
The frame is glass nylon reinforced polymer with embedded stainless steel rails and a medium aggressive grip texture. The accessory rail is Glock pattern, so weapon lights and lasers designed for a Gen 3 nineteen mount without an adapter.
Safeties are the familiar trigger, firing pin and drop safety set. There is no manual thumb safety, which is what most defensive shooters and instructors expect on a pistol of this class.
Shooting and Handling
The CA19 handles like the pistol it copies, which is to say it points naturally and recoils straight back rather than flipping. A 4.02 inch barrel and roughly seven and a half inches of overall length put it in the sweet spot between a duty gun and a carry gun, comfortable on a belt but long enough in the sight radius to shoot well at 25 yards.
Magazines are the standard Glock 19 pattern, so 15, 17, 19, 24 and 33 round sticks all work. Most owners keep a mix of 15 round magazines for carry and larger ones for range practice, and factory Glock magazines drop in without any fitting.

Who Should Buy It
This is a value pistol for someone who wants a Glock 19 sized gun as a project platform, a truck gun, a training pistol or a first defensive handgun. If you already run Gen 3 magazines and holsters, adding one costs you nothing in extra gear.
Be clear about what you are getting. The polymer sights are functional but they are the first thing most owners replace with steel or night sights. There is no optic cut on this variant, only one magazine ships with the gun, and the trigger is a basic factory unit rather than a tuned one.
Full product details are published by Combat Armory. Compare the threaded barrel and optic ready versions in our firearms selection if you plan to add a suppressor or a red dot.
Every firearm we list ships to your chosen FFL and is transferred there after a background check.
