Description
The Pro-Shot 177 Cal Rifle Cleaning Kit is the complete, professional-grade solution for maintaining your .177 and .17 caliber air rifles and pistols. Engineered and manufactured by Pro-Shot Products in Taylorville, Illinois, this American-made kit provides everything you need to clean, protect, and preserve the performance of your smallbore firearms.
Why Choose the Pro-Shot 177 Cal Rifle Cleaning Kit?
Pro-Shot Products has built a reputation as one of the most trusted names in firearms cleaning equipment, offering precision-crafted tools designed for serious shooters and gun owners who demand the best in bore maintenance. The Pro-Shot 177 Cal Rifle Cleaning Kit is built to deliver consistent, reliable results every time.
What’s Included in the Pro-Shot 177 Cal Rifle Cleaning Kit
At the heart of this kit are five stainless micro-polished cleaning rods, each measuring 6.5 inches in length. When connected, these rods provide a total working length of 32.5 inches – more than enough for thorough bore access on most air rifles. The precision threading between each section ensures the rods stay connected during use, preventing unwanted separation and protecting your bore from damage.
The full-size swivel handle included in the Pro-Shot 177 Cal Rifle Cleaning Kit ensures effortless rotation while cleaning. This critical feature allows the rod to follow the natural twist of the rifling, providing more effective cleaning while protecting the bore from unnecessary wear.
For actual bore cleaning, the kit includes a precision-designed .177/.17 Cal bore brush that removes carbon, lead, and other fouling from pistol and rifle bores. Paired with a .17 Cal brass spear-tip jag and a smallbore brass patch holder, this combination delivers a tight, consistent patch-to-bore fit for maximum cleaning efficiency.
Lubricants and Cleaning Supplies Included
Two high-quality Pro-Shot lubricants are included: BIO4X and LP. Both products are specifically formulated to be safe for airgun use, making this kit suitable for both traditional firearms and air-powered platforms. These lubricants protect metal surfaces from rust and corrosion while ensuring smooth action.
The 100% cotton flannel patches included in this kit are world-famous for their superior absorbency and bore contact. Paired with a double-ended nylon gun brush – ideal for scrubbing hard-to-reach areas on the action, frame, and other components – this kit covers every aspect of a thorough cleaning routine.
A double-treated silicone gun cloth rounds out the kit, leaving a protective, fingerprint-resistant finish on metal surfaces to guard against corrosion and environmental moisture.
Storage and Portability
Everything in the Pro-Shot 177 Cal Rifle Cleaning Kit is stored in a rugged, custom-fit, impact-resistant lockable storage case with a lockable tray. This case keeps all components organized and protected, making the kit ideal for both home use and range trips. The kit is packaged in a 1.95 x 5.10 x 10.60 inch case.
