Each round is CNC machined from solid aluminum billet to the exact dimensions of a loaded cartridge and hard anodized. One piece, no separate case head, no plastic body, so nothing can shear off and jam a feed ramp or a tilting barrel lockup.
The primer end holds a proprietary polymer cushion instead of a live primer, rated by A-Zoom past three thousand strikes. It decelerates the firing pin much as a real primer would, which matters on older pistols and on any design running a light titanium pin.
