Weaver Grand Slam 30mm Medium Rings Overview
The Grand Slam is Weaver premium steel ring. Rather than being stamped or cast, each ring is machined from solid steel, which gives it a stiff clamp, clean fit and a long service life. Steel tolerates repeated mounting and occasional over-tightening far better than aluminum, which is why many hunters choose steel rings for rifles that see hard use or heavy recoil.
Made for 30mm Scopes

Installation Tips
Degrease the base screws and use medium thread locker on the base screws only. Rest the scope in the lower ring halves, set eye relief and level the reticle. Tighten the cap screws evenly in a crisscross pattern with a torque driver and stay within the scope maker limit. Steel rings take lapping well if your scope shows ring marks or the tube does not sit evenly.

These rings fit 30mm tubes only and are not quick detach. Steel weighs more than aluminum. On Picatinny rails, the narrower Weaver lug will not completely fill the wider slot, so a Picatinny-specific ring is a better match there.
