Kriss Vector Gen2 22LR 16 Black Overview
The Vector Gen2 is a Kriss semi-auto rifle that fires one round per trigger press and cycles itself for fast follow up shots.
Action and Controls
The Vector Gen2 is a semi-auto rifle. It holds 30+1 rounds. The trigger is Two Stage. The safety is ambidextrous.
Barrel
The 16 inch barrel is chrome moly steel with a threaded profile and a 1:10″ twist. Sights are Flip Up Front & Rear.
Stock and Fit
The stock is synthetic with a black finish. Check the length of pull against your own fit, especially if you shoot in heavy clothing. Metal surfaces wear Black and Black Nitride.
Size and Handling
Overall length is 34.50″-37.70″. It weighs about 7.40 lbs. A steady rest, a good sling and practice from field positions will help you shoot it well.
Ammo and Practice
Rimfire ammo varies a lot between brands, so try a few to find what feeds and groups best in this rifle before you buy in bulk.
The 22 LR
The 22 LR is cheap, quiet and has almost no recoil, which makes it the best round for practice, small game and new shooters.
Small Game and Plinking
This rifle is great for small game, plinking and teaching new shooters, with cheap ammo and almost no recoil.
Optics and Accessories
Plan on quality scope rings or mounts, a sling, a hard or soft case and a cleaning kit. A bipod or shooting sticks help a lot for steady shots in the field or at the bench.
Buying Tips
Budget for quality optics or sights, a sling and ammo, and confirm your zero at the distances you expect to shoot.
Care and Value
Clean the bore and action after each range trip or hunt, keep moving parts lightly oiled and wipe the finish after handling. A well kept Kriss holds its value.
State Laws
Some states limit semi-auto features, magazine capacity and hunting calibers. Check your local law before you buy. Pennsylvania buyers can transfer at our Collegeville shop or at any FFL.
