What Is Included
The package includes one lever with a number 10-32 by 5/16 inch button head cap screw already installed, an installation instruction card and a hex wrench. The lever weighs about 0.29 ounces and measures roughly 0.48 by 0.59 by 1.25 inches, so it adds almost no weight to the scope.
Installation
Position the lever over the existing fin on the magnification ring, thread the pre-installed screw by hand, and tighten it with the supplied hex wrench until the lever is snug and does not rotate on the fin. Avoid excessive force. Cycle the ring through its full range to make sure the lever clears the mount, rings and any other accessories.
Where It Helps Most
On a 1-6x carbine optic, the lever helps you snap between 1x for close targets and 6x for distance during matches or training drills. On a 2.5-12.5x hunting scope, it lets you dial up for a longer shot without fumbling for the ring. Many shooters find it worth adding even if they do not change power often, simply because it makes the ring position easy to feel.
Training With a Lever
Build the habit of returning the scope to its lowest setting after every string of fire on a carbine, or to your preferred hunting power on a bolt rifle. Practice reaching for the lever from your normal shooting grip so the motion becomes automatic. A quick touch also tells you where the power ring sits without lifting your eye from the scope, which saves time when a target appears suddenly.
Honest Limitations
This lever only fits the Trijicon models listed above. A protruding lever can snag on slings, cases or vegetation, and it may contact some cantilever mounts or tall ring caps, so check clearance after installation.
