The ACOG uses an illuminated red crosshair .223 / 5.56 bullet drop compensating reticle, and the package includes a TA51 thumbscrew flattop mount for Picatinny rails. Trijicon ACOG 4×32 LED RMR Combo Overview

The ACOG has been fielded by military and law enforcement units around the world for decades. This LED version adds user-selectable brightness, with six levels and an off position between each setting, so you can match reticle brightness to changing light. A single AA battery powers it, and Trijicon rates runtime at more than 12,000 continuous hours on setting number four. The housing is forged from 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum, and the optic is compatible with night vision devices.

The RMR Type 2 Red Dot

Trijicon includes a 3.25 MOA adjustable LED RMR Type 2 (RM06) mounted on top of the ACOG. Trijicon moved the RMR mount forward on this LED body to improve how the two optics work together. For targets inside about 25 yards, you simply lift your head slightly and use the red dot; for longer shots, drop back to the 4x ACOG. This combination eliminates the need for a variable optic in many roles.

Reticle and BDC

The illuminated red crosshair reticle includes bullet drop compensation marks designed around .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ballistics. Zero at 100 yards, then confirm each holdover at actual distance with your rifle and load, since barrel length and bullet weight change where impacts fall. Mounting and Eye Relief

The TA51 thumbscrew flattop adapter clamps to standard Picatinny rails. ACOGs have short eye relief, about 1.5 inches, so mount the optic far enough forward that you see a full field of view with your head in a natural position. Push the mount forward in the rail slot before tightening.

Honest Limitations

Fixed 4x magnification is slow for very close work without the RMR, and the short eye relief takes practice. The combo is heavier and more expensive than many variable optics. Two battery-powered optics mean two batteries to manage, though both have long runtimes.
